Lovely store, employees are always very helpful and patient in finding the perfect shoes for me. High-quality shoes are definitely a costly investment, but everything I've gotten here has been worth the price
Update!! Daniel has reached out to me and I have sent him a email regarding what happened. I’m sure we will be able to find something in my husband’s size to try on. Will be looking forward to dealing with Daniel! What a disappointment!! Went in today with my husband to both buy a pair of shoes! (Another pair of my husbands shoes are in to be resold and polished). Looking through the store no one offered to help either one of us. When asked for help for some reason we were treated like we were bothering her! It’s not easy to find size 14 shoes but my suggestion would be best to avoid the store. Poor customer service! Only one that was helpful was the young lady with the black hair, but by then we were both jaded. Sad customer!!
At noon we visited with my grandmother. Staff lady only talked to my mom and I at first, didn’t even talk to my grandma even though she was the customer. (Ageist?) She wouldn’t let her see very many options at all - didn’t want to entertain the idea of a wide shoe- only showed deep and wide shoe due to edema and said sorry any other shoe will wreck your bandages… my grandma didn’t have any bandages on her feet, only stockings. Woman said she needed to be the “reality police” for us and said there was no other option in the store or any other store. Just a bit of a condescending demeanour.
I've always had difficulties finding shoes that fit me properly, because I'm a 4 1/2 wide and Miller's is one of the only shoe store that I can actually find shoes. I was designing a house close by today and decided to stop in on my way home. I live quite a distance but worth the drive to this store. I was ecstatic with the service that Daniel fourth generation sales person had provided me today. I not only found what I was looking for but I lucked out buying three pairs. Thanks you Daniel for making me very happy today.
Our sales person was Natalie. She was great. We got what we came for and had a nice time talking with her. She was very helpful. Her and another sales person recommended a place for lunch just up the street a couple of blocks for lunch that was very good. Earth Table.
Tremendously pleased with my visit to Miller's Shoe Store. As someone with particularly large and wide feet, this store had an incredible selection of high quality brands. Truly unique and unmatched by anywhere in the GTA. Further, the friendly and professional atmosphere of this family-owned business is fantastic. It was a privilege to meet and buy from Mr. Miller.
Daniel was very helpful and knowledgeable about the shoes and styles that would fit my very narrow feet. I have never been to a shoe store in Ontario that has such was a wide variety of narrow and very stylish shoes that I could choose from. I bought three pair and my husband also bought a pair. We were very impressed and though we are from Ottawa, we will be back!
