Really impressed with Canmax. They made it easy to book and were super accommodating with my timing. The team explained everything step by step and didn't miss a detail. Couldn't have asked for a smoother experience.

I can't comment on the actual process of on MRI as my husband went somewhere else in New York State. He had no appointment booked with Canmax. While I do appreciate the website listing their prices in CAD, hence the 2nd star.....but sadly that's where the fun ends. The phone call to Canmax was overly corporate. The needs of the patient came secondary to the speech on method of payment, cancellation policy, etc.. In a nutshell I received a real corporate vibe from my conversation. Not at all what I was expecting. For that I can't recommend Canmax. On top of that, my husband saved roughly $200 CAD elsewhere and was very happy with his experience.
We used Canmax to expedite some imaging required to confirm a family member's cancer diagnosis. I called at 5pm on a Monday and by 6pm we had a booking at a clinic just a 1.5 hr drive across the border. I spoke directly with the CEO as he was covering the phones. He followed up with us the day of the scan and I asked if it was possible to expedite the report. He made it happen and we had our results the next day. He followed up again to ensure everything was received and done properly from their end, which it was. I appreciated his proactiveness during a really difficult time for our family. Sadly, the scans showed what we feared, but they are also the reason we got our referral accepted to the cancer centre immediately. Money well spent, and I have only good things to say about Canmax. If you're in a position where you cannot afford to wait for the Ontario healthcare system but you can afford some out of pocket costs, don't hesitate to use them.
My MRI experience couldn’t have gone better. I was quite apprehensive about the whole thing but my fears were quickly dismissed. Excellent staff. Very professional and informative. I would highly recommend this to all Canadians.
