Bought a leather chair from Filter and had such a wonderful experience! The store has so many beautiful pieces and the man who was helping us was so lovely. We took home the floor model since it was in good condition. We’ll definitely be coming back!

It is about time I left a review for Filter. Filter carries a range of new and "vintage" inventory all generally from the mid-century design class. There are a number of businesses in southern Ontario that do this. The first thing that sets Filter apart is their taste. Every piece of vintage they bring in is painfully alluring. Every contemporary brand they carry is exceptional. Filter is not the only store to do what they do, but the devil is in the details. The second thing that sets Filter apart is their customer service. I've purchased from them a few times. I am yapping their ear off constantly. My question to dollar spend ratio must be one of the highest. Yet, they've never made me feel irritating. They've always answered every question quickly and professionally. In addition, I am early in my career so purchases from Filter are big purchases. The staff at Filter have always worked with me in this regard and I can confidently say their pricing is extremely fair. When things have gone "wrong" (I had a lamp on order that was quoted to take a few weeks but ended up taking a few months to arrive, obviously not Filter's fault) the staff are great at handling it and went above and beyond to make you feel valued. The only reason you should not shop with Filter is if you just don't "get it"
Might be one of the coolest stores I've ever been in. The store owners are some of the nicest people I've ever talked to and welcomed me graciously into their store on multiple occasions. Definitely a go to spot for mid-century furniture.
Unless you look like you could drop big money don't even bother going in. We went in kids in tow to purchase two items a friend was wanting. 5 mins and NO one acknowledged us... not even a hello when we walked in . we left without purchasing the chairs.
