When we moved to the area I was stuck with a very dirty old English sheepdog. I looked everywhere. I understand. In the groomers défense if they can do a miniature poodle for the same asking price .. finally found a groomer in Oakville for 250.00 very expensive.. in anticipation of using the machines they supply I gave dog gone a ring.. well Cathy was great and it’s been a year. Almost five appointments and I couldn’t be happier!!! Sandy loves it. VERY VERY affordable. Convient booking.. literally on a Sunday! Great place I definitely think we are blessed to have a nice family based business here in Hamilton!
They always do an amazing job with my dog, Summer! It’s the only grooming place she actually likes. Summer can be a bit difficult, but the team handles her with such patience and care every time. Highly recommend!
BE AWARE: I usually take my dog to Petsmart, who charge way less than these guys ( $70 ) But since they were pretty packed up on schedule I decided to try this place, but I should of known better from the reviews. THE MOST FILTHY grooming experience ever! Do yourself a favour and save yourself from going here. As soon as you enter it smells of garbage, more like a rundown storage area with garbage everywhere. Nothing is clean or professional about this place. The clippers had hair from the previous dog on it already, not cleaned properly. Now let’s get to the grooming, I asked specifically for even hair throughout, when I picked up zorro he had extra hair on his paws that were uneven, his eyes not cleaned properly…..smells pretty bad after the bath all for me to pay $90 for a shitty job. When asked about the pricing, the excuse was Trumps Traiffs. LOL tariffs have nothing to do with dog grooming. Zorro seems a bit scared and anxious, not sure what he experienced but definitely not the greatest. Had to give him a bath again at home. I definitely want a refund or half my money back after this experience. If you want your dog to smell good, have a professional experience…..take him somewhere eles. NEVER AGAIN!
this is the worst place ever. do not bring your dog here, the place itself is terrifying and smells terrible! and they gave our golden retriever a TERRIBLE haircut oh my!!
Will never bring any of our dogs back! We used to get our dogs nails done there but the last time we brought him he walked out with a dislocated hip, we always warned them to be careful when laying on him and to watch his hips. Our dog is 17 and now I have to carry him everywhere. Too bad we have to give at least one star, not even worth that! Edit- my boy had to be put down because he wouldn’t have made it through surgery that was required because of Dog Gone Clean
Super friendly, they truly love dogs here. Affordable and quality. My dog has always been a drama queen about her nails, the family at Dog-gone took care of her gently, quickly yet still with patience and care. Then it was time for a bath, again, the same care and quality was used with my complaining and howling dog. I was a drop in and they handled us efficiently while keeping up with three other appointments. I will definitely be back for more doggy spa days! Oh, they do custom dog coats and bandannas as well as amazing portrait photography for your furry family member.
Really great place, very kind and honest people running this my dog Jacklyn loved being there Ifor the first time being in Hamilton n trusting with my dog and credit card I made a great desicion they are amazing Everything is perfect I'm really happy and my dog is happy and amazed as well This will be a permanent place for my dog to go to forsure
