I had a very uncomfortable experience at this Urban Planet location due to a manager’s behavior. While I was at the cash register, I overheard a manager speaking poorly about employees in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner. An employee later informed me that the manager’s name was supposedly Gorette. These comments were made openly, within earshot of customers, which created an awkward and unpleasant environment. Regardless of internal matters, employees should not be spoken about negatively in front of customers. It reflects poorly on management and affects both staff morale and the overall customer experience. I hope management takes this matter seriously!
Not only were they understaffed when it was very busy when we had gotten up to the line she was so distracted talking so much that she forgot to take one of the tags off. Came home to try on the clothes and got stabbed.come on do better…. Mindlessly not paying attention and do your job right that what your paid for.
Outstanding Service at Urban Planet Lime Ridge Mall, Hamilton! I came all the way from Ancaster (a regular shopper who always spends $100+ every visit), and today I forgot my receipt. I was so grateful for Manager Marium, who went above and beyond to help me! She personally pulled my receipt from the system, handled everything with calm professionalism, and showed what true leadership looks like. ? You can tell she genuinely cares for her staff and customers she’s kind, patient, and absolutely shines as a leader and role model. Urban Planet is lucky to have her! A big thank you also to Anastasua, who helped me with my exchanges such a sweet and professional person. Together, they make an incredible team. ?️ I even told my husband about the experience, and he was blown away too! This kind of customer service is rare it’s the reason I’ll keep coming back and spending my money here proudly. Thank you, Marium and the team at Urban Planet! I often go to this place for shopping since I moved to canada. But today, like just now, after I paid for my shopping I forgot my wallet at the cash counter and later realized that I was missing my wallet. When I went back to check with this store cash counter girl who made my bill, she was waiting for me to come back and pick it up….. I can’t thank her enough for what she did. Her name is Sara, she was the cashier at the lime ridge urban planet store @urbanplanet, never lose her ever, she is very loyal to her customers and trustworthy too. ❤️❤️ I had all my cash and cards in that, but thanks to her I found it.
Do yourself a favour and avoid this place like plague. They don’t have any concept of customer service - all they want is sell their cheap quality products and if you don’t like the product - they don’t refund (even if it’s not used at all). Even worse, if you lose your receipt, they refuse to provide store credit or exchange. Will never ever shop at this trashy place - cheap product and cheap customer service!
I just need to warn other shoppers that they will not do a REFUND. Even when the items have tags and you have the receipt. They will only do STORE CREDIT. And they only go upto and XL. Please be warned when shopping.
Good for what it is. I wouldn't expect amazing stuff but if you need common apparel and don't mind looking at clearances items you'll find something you like.
