First time at this location and I was so highly disappointed in the lack of customer service. I had an employee approach me, who did recommend a size for me, but that was it. She didn't assist in explaining the different brands or styles, even though I indicated I never wear jeans but needed them for a course I was taking. So, she left a dressing room open and went about her business. I tried on several pairs of jeans and actually had to put my own pants back on and attend the floor in my socks twice, to locate other sizes, styles. This same employee was busy on her cell phone, but did look up, making no attempt to follow-up or offer further assistance. Being in the service industry myself, I have a basic expectation of customer service, but this experience was so disappointing. I spent $170 in the store regardless as I was on a time crunch to purchase the item I needed, but I felt compelled to leave a review due to the poor customer service. I honestly felt as though this employee was buying her time to the end of her shift. Not what I expected at all. Having to dress and attend the floor in my socks to get more sizes, was a little ridiculous. I won't return to this location ever.
Went to return an item this morning that I had ordered on line . The lady that served me ( I’m so sorry I don’t remember your name ) was amazing . She extremely pleasant , calm and polite . I wound up exchanging the item for something different . Thank you for your kindness and service.
Nice staff, but terrible selection. Went in for boots and pants and they had barely any options. And anything I wanted didn’t even hav my size. (I’m an avg sized person, everything was 36” waist or bigger or 30” or smaller. Why no inventory? Lady sugguested I go online or to another store, but even other stores had such limited selection (only 1-2 items left). I have no idea why in store shopping isn’t more prioritized Nobody is going to order online for items from Marks.
Great shop and great workers!! I got the best service ever from Elizabeth! She is so kind and patience and helped me a lot until I found the perfect shoes!
K-e-l-l-y from this location is very rude and ignorant complains you try on boots and tells you to properly put the boots in numbered size sequence. Worst customer service I've ever had. I won't be sending any of my employees to this location again SMH
Store is OK. Employees were very pleasant and helpful. But do not enter the washroom unless you absolutely have to. Not sure who suppose to clean it, but looks like it is a once a year thing.
I BEEN SHOPPING AT MARKS FOR THAT LAST 10 YRS ON THIER HAMILTON MOUNTAIN LOCATION ON UPPER JAMES I FIND THEM TO BE MORE FREINDLY AND VERY HELPFUL WITH ALL THERE GREAT PRICES AND INVENTORY ITEMS THEY SIMPLY HAVE THE BEST STAFF THANKS KELLY ( general manager ) AND ALL THE GREAT STAFF THAT WORK THERE SANDRO
