Don't use this company for any type of online ordering. They have cancelled my two orders yet fully charged me for the purchases. Customer service is non-existent and they build in layers of numbers and transfers to deter you from actually continuing. We were very long, long time shoppers of Rens - couldn't be more disappointed.
I have shopped at Rens for years and have always been satisfied with the service I received however recently an error was made by the cashier and I was charged twice for my purchase. I took my statement to the store to have the error corrected and was told I would have to contact my credit card company and have them fix the error or I could call REN’s Customer Service which I did. I spoke with the employee and once again was told that they could not fix the error..it was my responsibility. I did call my credit card company and within days the money was back in my account. Had this been an error on my part I would have had no problem getting it fixed but it was an error of Ren’s. I am still waiting for a call back from the store manager. This dates back to February! I found the attitudes of the cashier at the store and also the customer service rep. to be rather condescending and not very willing to help so I will no longer be shopping at any of the REN’s locations. Waterdown has several other pet stores that I will use for my pet supplies from now on.
Will never shop at this location again or maybe the entire chain. They sold us mislabeled dog boots (said L on packaging but the boots were XL when we opened them and saw the tag on the boots) gave me a very difficult time about exchanging them because they said they were on clearance but imo if the store falsely sells you the wrong size thats on them regardless if clearance. Patty was the staff member that helped me. I see someone else has had the same experience 6 months earlier. The way the store handled the exchange was not great customer service.
Ren's is a clean friendly store. I find their parking very unfriendly. I park in the handicap space. There is no possible way for me to get into the store up the 2+ inch curb. I am required to walk around the curb and into the receiving driveway to access the sidewalk.
Kirsten, Waterdown Store Manager, went out of her way TWICE to make sure we had everything we would need as we acquired a quick rescue pup. Kirsten pointed out with great knowledge the proper food, snacks, treats, toys - proper sizing of a crate (lots of patience there) and was super helpful as I asked lots of questions. The price was very competitive, selections was great. Thanks so much Kirsten.
I went here today to find a new brand of food for my dog who has been recently diagnosed with multiple allergies. I was approached by an associate there, Divyam, who offered his assistance and then spent much time and much interest in my endeavours. He was patient, pleasant, helpful, friendly, and very comfortable to discuss my issues with. He really is an asset to this organization and I appreciate his professionalism and support. I will return to this franchise and location because of his fantastic customer service. Thank you Divyam.
We love RENS they always have what we're looking for and such happy sale persons and they make you feel at home and relaxed and your favorite person can come in with you and our pup will only shop at RENS she just loves RENS we go in and come out very happy with our purchases
