I am so delighted that this place is still open! I went here with my mom and my grandmother every Sunday faithfully to admire their parrot (Buster) their rodents and so much more! Keep in mind this was like three decades ago! I’m not sure if the one lady who is a twin still works there, but she was fantastic to me and very patient with a child running around her store. In fact, all the staff there was phenomenal with my goofy ass. When I got a little bit older, my mom bought me a rat from there because one of the staff suggested that would be a great pets for specifically me instead of a hamster or whatever. That was a pivotal moment in my life. I know it sounds corny, but keep in mind. I was a very young child. That rat was everything to me. Not too long after I convinced my mom to get me a female rat. eventually they had babies. Therefore, I need a bigger cage and then more babies bigger cage. When I got a little bit older, I started to build my own cages from leftover parts of other cages and made like a 16 story rat condo One hours around 12 or 13 I sold my baby rats on Kijiji and made some pretty good money off what most people consider a pest Enough rambling the great staff here made me the entrepreneur. I am today. Or at least in a way unlock my potential. I visited maybe a year or two ago and it’s still clean. I don’t recognize the staff, but they’re still pleasant… unfortunately Buster is gone, but what can I expect after so long lol
stopped in to take a look at their animals with my little sister after visiting the freshco beside it. The lady told us the birds names and the trick they can do. Animals enclosures were all clean. If you're going to buy a bird or other small animal they looked pretty happy and taken care of to us!
My wife to go to here when she was a child, she told me the awesome stories about the people that worked here. Today we came to to get a rat (none where we are) everyone was so awesome. Love this store
I went into this store because my dog was really scratching after her groom. Barb helped me out so very much. She took the time to listen to my concerns and recommend a product that worked on my girl. She's so friendly and genuinely cares about your pet. This is now my go to pet store because of her. Shes amazing . If you need help with your pet I highly recommend this store and ask for barb/Barbara ( I sincerely hope I have her name correct)
My new go to pet store. I have an older very fussy bird and they have made my life so much easier to feed him and give him the correct toys. Beyond helpful and respectful staff. I will be sending people there way with all their pet needs.
Paulmacs has excellent customer service skills. The staff are very friendly and eager to help. The animals are well taken care of! The store is very clean! This is my new pet store for all my needs from now on!
Went browsing through the store while doing some errands. The store was small but organized! I was even able to find a Christmas gift for my pet bunny!
