Store was well stocked, mostly clean and somewhat organized. Proprietor knew nothing about the coupons we were given for adopting our cat. Claimed we had to use them in the town we adopted from and that we couldn't redeem them without a points collection account, neither of which were true as per the fine print on the coupons. Insisted that what he was saying was correct but would make a one time exception for us, then showcased his lack of knowledge on how to use the coupons that came from petvalu's head office. Will not be returning.

But after spending some time browsing and taking photos, a young gentleman approached and kindly asked if I needed any assistance. He helped me find booties for my puppies and even went so far as to check other locations for the specific ones I was looking for. His warmth and attentiveness completely changed my experience. A truly commendable level of service. I’ll certainly be returning. The only downside to it is that, if you go after 5 pm you have to enter the doors through the fennel entrances not the back entrance of upper Wenthworth. I didn’t know so I parked and had to walk all the way around ?. A bit of walking never hurt anyone ? There’s free parking which is a bonus in the plaza
Not a bad selection for a smaller sized pet store. Good variety of food and I took advantage of the name tags and custom engraving machine. I wish the staff I dealt with was a bit more knowledgeable and actually had some input about different products and which ones are better. I feel like I could just order online and have the same experience.
I was at the shop today for the first time. Thora (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was so very helpful. I was looking for some spray so my puppy will stop chewing on furniture and she made two good recommendations. Additionally, we needed some new chew toys. She recommended several. The one she recommended that resembles a wood stick has been such a hit. Finn has been gnawing on it almost constantly since I got home. He loves to throw it up in the air, and then go fetch it. (He's a puppy so that usually entails him sliding across the floor to get it.) Thank you again for your help. We'll be back.
I always go here for my boys needs all the workers are always so welcoming and always there to give me real and great advice on my boys dietary needs, they don’t have the pet bath here but they have absolutely everything else. My boy looks forward to going there all the time, I feel that if the workers weren’t so welcoming and happy, we wouldn’t love it so much!
