We celebrated my mother’s birthday at the Squire. Everything was perfect, from making the initial reservation to the food and the service from Liz, we had a lovely evening. Liz took great care of us and helped make our celebration perfect. The atrium is a great space for a larger group (there were 10 of us) - it felt very intimate but not overly formal. The menu has enough variety but not overwhelming- and all of what we ordered was perfectly prepared. Thank you for making my mother’s birthday special!
I have been 3 times and this place is always fantastic. I first came for drinks with friends and we loved the vibe and sat on the patio. The second time I came was with my partner for date night. We shared the garlic knots which were delicious. He had a jalapeño burger with fries and I had the Reuben with fries. The Reuben was the best I’ve ever had. Super fresh and so much flavour. The service was great and the prices are reasonable. And thirdly after moving we brought our friends who helped us and we all ordered the naan chicken wraps which we all ate in 10 minutes flat. They were delicious! Highly recommend this place!! Can’t wait to go back!
Honestly the food was good, i wasn't too hungry when we showed up so i didn't really order anything, in the end i got a chicken burger, man that thing was good, it was also my girlfriends birthday and they made us feel super welcome. Really appreciated it, thank you
The ownership here should stop attempting to receive information about my personal life&Finances AND stop constantly gossiping about other individuals/businesses. HE should INSTEAD use that energy to improve his struggling business. The place is always empty. I wonder why… probably because it’s the most lacklustre restaurant on Locke street AND everyone knows it You can continue to gossip about other restaurants and ppl but it won’t take away from the fact that you’re miserable. Xxoo
My first time there. There was 4 of us so we ordered two appetizers. Wonton nachos and the feta dip. Wonton nachos were excellent but wouldn’t order the dip again. It wasn’t what I was expecting at all and it comes with just a few pieces of bread. I ordered the beef brisket and it really good and tender. That dish I would order again. I might not be able to afford coming back often as it was on the very pricey side. 14$ for a Rosé is really pricey. Overall it was a nice night. If you get an appetizer a drink and a dish be ready to pay 140$ for two min.
This was my first time at Squire. My friend and I met for lunch at this place and I must say, my experience was absolutely divine! We sat at a table by the bay window overlooking Locke St. and the atmosphere was altogether beautiful. We had their soup and salad and everything was delicious. The portions are just right for a light lunch. Our server was very attentive and made sure that our water was always full. This is a place worth revisiting.
Had a short visit to this warm & friendly place on a Tues evening. Just a beer & old fashioned drink, paired with the yummy wonton nachos ? Wow what a neat take on the “traditional” nachos. And our server (Fi)was so nice & informative. Loved our visit ?
