I visited Persona with a friend today for brunch. What a lovely treat. We had brunch and the choices on the menu were all so tempting. We settled on the buratta and sourdough focaccia starter (omg....so good). I had the lobster Arrancini starter as my main, and it was a perfect size. My friend had the prime rib benny and she said it was fabulous. Perfectly cooked poached eggs which can be tough to perfect, but they got it right. Honestly I wanted one of eveything. I cant wait to come back. The reservation is already made. Going to try the high Tea next time and it can't some soon enough. Our server was fantastic, I'm so sorry I can't remember his name, but he was great. Attentive and very knowledgeable. I'll definitely be back and will have to try dinner there some time. A definite must try.
An absolutely delicious experience going to @eatpersona this afternoon to celebrate a milestone birthday. Our server was lovely, the tea selection was varied and impressive and the food was fresh, flavourful and filling. We barely made it through the savouries. It was a Xmas-themed afternoon tea and everything paired very nicely. Pricey, yes, but well worth it. I would definitely go back for an Italian inspired meal or another tea outing
Took my out of town guest there there were 9 of us total. The service was excellent and patient with us all. The guest said this was an excellent meal and choice for dinner
Went for brunch with my husband and we were not disappointed. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. I had the carbonara Benny. Such a unique twist on the classic eggs Benedict. The carbonara fritter was absolutely amazing
I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel it’s important to share our experience at Persona so others don’t go through the same disappointment we did. We booked a table for six to celebrate my grandpa’s 75th birthday a milestone that meant a lot to our family. Unfortunately, the evening was rushed from start to finish. It became obvious that the restaurant had overbooked and wanted to clear our table quickly to seat a larger group of ten instead. We were pressured to order and finish eating far too quickly, and although the staff had promised we could bring a cake (and even charged a cutting fee), they later rushed us out before we could properly celebrate. The food itself reflected that same haste — undercooked, overly salty, and carelessly prepared. When we expressed our disappointment and said we wouldn’t be returning, the manager simply replied, “That’s too bad.” That response said everything. What should have been a joyful family milestone turned into an uncomfortable and disappointing night. I hope Persona reflects on how they treat their guests no celebration deserves to be handled this way. I would like to add the servers did not do anything this was 100% management and the OWNER who was there that evening. Save your money and go somewhere else.
A Milestone Birthday Ruined by Disrespectful Management and a "Volume-Over-Value" Mentality. We selected this restaurant to celebrate a milestone 75th birthday, expecting an evening of fine dining and celebration. Instead, our experience was deeply disappointing, overshadowed by an appalling lack of respect from management and a clear focus on turning tables rather than providing service. Our reservation was for 5:30 PM. Due to a slight delay, we arrived at 5:45 PM. From the moment we were seated, our manager—who was also our primary server—made a point of mentioning the next reservation for our table at 7:30 PM. This set an unwelcoming and rushed tone from the very beginning. For the entire duration of our meal, we felt pressured and hurried, despite having nearly two hours until the next party was scheduled to arrive. This "on the clock" feeling culminated in our entrees arriving all at once, overlapping with appetizers, and unfortunately, several dishes were not cooked correctly. While the general staff was pleasant, the manager's service was hurried and dismissive. The most egregious incident occurred at 7:15 PM. Having been informed prior of a cake slicing fee (which we were fully prepared to pay), we finally brought out our own cake for my father's 75th. We asked for just one slice to be served to him. We were flatly denied by the manager, who stated we could "bring the cake out, and that's it." They have another reservation. We were, in essence, allowed to look at the cake, but not serve it, 15 minutes before our reservation's end. When my father, understandably frustrated, expressed his disappointment, the manager's response was shockingly disrespectful. She was dismissive, unprofessional, and escalated the situation, showing zero regard for the guest whose birthday it was. Her priority was clearly the next reservation, not the customers spending a significant amount of money right in front of her. When we made it clear that this level of service ensured we would never return, the manager's final, flippant remark to us was, "That's too bad for you." This establishment, led by its current management, has clearly prioritized quick-turnaround transactions over genuine hospitality. They seem to care more about the next dollar than the ones currently at their tables. We spent a substantial sum to be rushed, disrespected, and humiliated on what should have been a cherished family memory. I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant for any special occasion, or indeed for any diner who expects a basic level of professional respect.
Last night we had an amazing special celebration dinner with our 57 Club Posse. The Food, the Prosecco, the Wine were excellent! Those olives ?!! 2nd place to one of our gang’s mothers stuffed olives….and that is high high praise. Our server Kashy was fantastic, attentive and helpful, anticipating our needs. We had Salmon, Risotto, Veal and Carbonara, which were all equally scrumptious. While we did not order dessert we were gifted with a Lucious lemon basil confection which was so so good and if u like lemon ? this is for you!!! Another was ordered! Thank you Per’so’na for making our night a night to remember! And of course it goes without saying the most special thing about it was our friendship and us! We will be back!
