my boyfriend had a very poor experience with the employee taking his order. my boyfriend placed an order of a medium fry and the employee said “really?” in a rude tone making it sound like us just getting regular fries was an inconvenience for him or that he was being judgemental, he had tossed the box of fries in the bag with some napkins and gave them to him and when my boyfriend said thank you and told him to have a nice day his response was “whatever”. the food was great and had no issues there but was very disappointed with the customer service of this employee, we don’t feel very welcomed to go back.
Had an amazing experience today at New York Fries in Lime Ridge Mall, Hamilton! Ronna went above and beyond with her service. We ordered veggie fries and they were absolutely delicious – fresh, crispy, and perfectly made. Ronna added an extra sauce out of pure kindness, and even offered us a complimentary sample of seasoning, which was a great touch and made our day! It’s rare to see such genuine care and love in customer service. Keep doing the amazing work, Ronna! You truly made our visit special. Have a great day! ?
I cannot believe this nonsense. So, NY Fries has caved to the woke government farce with paper cup that you cannot even drink out of. I’m sure tyrannical, dictator Trudeau will be pleased with your compliance. This is my last visit to NY Fries. And the gravy and fries were overcooked, and too salty. This was on the ridiculous cup… WHAT'S UP WITH THIS FUNKY CUP? “Yup, it's funky all right - but even better than its cool looks is that this cup is made of 100% paper and is 100% compostable and biodegradable. While this may not fel like a big deal, it also does not require a plastic lid. It's the new way to drink responsibly - cheers to that!”. What a joke.
The Limeridge location has horrible customer service. Specifically one south Asian woman and an east Asian woman (both wear glasses). I have had about 3 incidents with only these two women. Servers are so cheap with putting gravy. It was bare minimum. When brought to the south asian's attention, she stood there, blank, ignored the concern and continued to ask how we would like to pay. She was least effected by the customer's concern. While serving, she also showed her terrible customer service (bad attitude, no smiles, no greetings or goodbyes, she seems like she hates her job). Never going back to this location again, advising my friends and family as well. This location just lost multiple customers for life.
Called to inquire about the notes I made on my Uber order, partly because most restaurants don't read instructions. Keon answered the phone so up beat, on the ball! I am so impressed with his knowledge and care he puts into each order! He deserves a raise! After covid finding people that work in the restaurant/ hospitality industry that put as much care and effort into his job, as he does is like finding a needle in a haystack! Especially on a Monday morning! Keep doing a great job! And ty Keon.
The lady that took our order had such a bad attitude, I got yelled at for not saying credit loud enough. The only reason why I'm rating two stars, and not one, is because of the gentleman that made the poutine. He knows what customer service is, she doesn't.
REVIEW UPDATE!! Since my review, it seems as though the lady whom I referred to has left this location. I have been to this location multiple times since my review and I have not had a bad experience. The staff seem to be much happier and more friendly. The food has gotten much better (which is a surprise to me) and the store looks brighter and cleaner. I will be coming back to this location more often. . . . There is a lady that is always there at the cash register. She wears glasses with blonde hair. She always has a miserable look in her face. I believe she is the manager at this location. On multiple occasions I see her yell at her employees from the cash register while they are at another position. I’ve even seen her yell at customers and then complain to other customers about what the problem was. That is a complete lack of professionalism on the managers part. She has no respect for anyone from what I can see. She should not be working in this industry if she can’t treat people with respect and decency. Now I don’t go there whenever she’s at the cash register.
