I went there for the first time today. I have gone from being a first to time customer to a life long addict! The food is amazing! I was surprised how beautiful the restaurant is. I was expecting a fast food vibe. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself in this beautiful boutique style restaurant. I am looking forward to my next visit ?

After ordering repeatedly off of Uber eats (cause the food is pretty tasty), I decided to bring my girl to the actual Restaurant on Kenilworth, to experience it first hand! It was about 7 o’clock on a Thursday, I believe. It was really really quiet inside. There was one other table. There was one bartender and one of the ladies who is on the Instagram. Me and my girlfriend walked in, and then we proceeded to wait at the front door. Nobody looked at us, nor greeted us. After standing there awkwardly, we decided to seat ourselves. The waitress/manager was chatting with guests at a table and the bartender was behind the bar, I believe polishing glassware. The bartender then yelled from across the room to say somebody will be right with you… :/ We sat for 5/6 mins at the table after standing at the door prior for another few…, no menu, no water, no formal greeting. We felt like a burden, so we left. I was looking forward to a cute dining experience, but that was lacking by far. Pretty big disappointment! The unbothered bartender should’ve walked over and brought us menus and introduced herself, and asked us if we wanted water or to start off with a drink (cause we were eager to try) while the waitress was accommodating with other guests! In the restaurant world a minute can feel like 10… That’s what I was always taught when I guess sits down you must immediately greet them. I will say you just never know who you have dining in your restaurant, word of mouth is everything in this industry/City. I will perhaps give this place another shot in the summer. For now, we will stick to ordering from Uber eats. I recommend the food, I do not recommend dining in. I will change my review if and when we having a better experience next time. As I am hopefully service will improve.. xo
My mom and I just got some beef patties for takeout about an hour ago; probably the best one I’ve had ? Can’t wait to go back and try the curry goat and oxtail.
I had the $5 jerk chicken special. You can get the deal if you purchase a drink, so all together was $11 after tax and tip. It was a great value for home cooking, and the service was lovely. I went in to pickup and Shiloh helped me, she was super friendly and my order came out very quickly. I'll definitely return:) Thanks Island Queens
Awesome place, the food was absolutely delicious, big portions, the cornbread is to die for, I had the Thai Chicken Salad and a few Red Stripes! Will definitely go back!
I bought a jerk chicken dinner it was well seasoned and spicy and it came with a free corn bread it tasted amazing I'm definitely buying from here again its so refreshing to finally have some great Carribean food here in Hamilton
