This is a great place to eat Portuguese food. The owners are cooking and serving delicious plates that are cooked and taste the way you remember. The restaurant is super clean, Nice music, Great atmosphere. They also have great wine and espresso. I have become a regular there ever since the first time I’ve been there, and I usually get the same dish.
Had a great late dinner here with friend. The Poetryugal style seafood rice is blast! All other dishes are great, I've enjoyed everything. Highly recommend!!
We were not happy with the food for it being a Portuguese restaurant , the food was poor. would not go back, and I would not recommend to any of my Portuguese !
Had the shrimp.and rice. Taste was fine, rice was undercooked a bit. One of my bites had a crunch. I thought I broke a tooth. It was a piece of mussel shell in my rice. Good thing it wasn't swallowed. Told the owner he just looked at it and took it off my plate and walked away. No sorry or compensation. I won't go back there's other Portuguese options in Hamilton.
We went there for dinner the other night. The place is cute and the waiter & waitress gave good service. The chorizo appetizer was great, but the seafood rice that we both ordered was not the best. Mine portion was filled with imitation crab, which I would have been ok with if it wasn't cooked to mush.
We ordered pulled pork sandwiches for the kids and the turbot dinner for the adults and beer plus custard desserts. Seemed reasonably priced on the menu but beware those prices are not what you will be charged. We didn’t feel like arguing but pointed out the discrepancy to the waitress. Food was okay. Could have been better. They listed peppers and onions but we only saw raw onions on our plates. A but disappointing.
2nd time here, first time was great I gave 4 stars. This time around the experience was so terrible in every way possible that I had to rewrite the review, I would have given 0 stars if possible.
