Everytime i tried to go to this place it is closed when their hours say they should be open. The place looks operational still so idk what's going on. What a shame, I love trying out local restaurants.
Wonderful spot for breakfast. The menu and decor are thoughtful. The home fries are tasty and herbed. Thank you for not having the music too loud. We loved our visit.

I’ve given this place a few tries, and after my third visit I don’t think I’ll be back. I ordered two poached eggs (soft) with sausage, toast, and home fries. The server didn’t write anything down, and the plate arrived with bacon instead. She offered to change it, but I didn’t want to waste food since I do like bacon — still, it was disappointing. The home fries were nicely browned on the outside but undercooked inside, so they weren’t enjoyable. Service missed the mark, too: no check-in during the meal, no one asked why most of my potatoes were left, and I had to go to the counter for the bill because it wasn’t brought to the table. Individually these might be small things, but together — and considering similar issues on past visits — it adds up. There’s potential here, but in my experience both food and service have been inconsistent.
This is a great casual restaurant. I had breakfast here and everything from the food to the presentation and the service was spot on. Seating is comfortable, there is a great view of the open kitchen, and there is lots of seating. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, was offered a table, and my order was taken within a few minutes. A few points about the food: home fries were perfectly seasoned; the omelette was light and flavourful; great presentation on the plate. The chef, whom I believe is the owner, is very friendly and welcoming. Prices are reasonable and the portions left me satisfied. The place was spotless too and there was lots of natural light coming in from the street.
Had the Reuben and french onion soup good portion and quick service friendly staff. Only thing I would like is a good sour pickle with the Reuben sandwich.
A fantastic eatery with a staff that is unbeatable when it comes to the love put into every dish they make. The food is also culinary art. This is a small business that needs to never go away.
