Definitely not an authentic Jamaican jerk chicken spot. More like an Americanized jerk chicken. Felt like a white dude from Mississippi cooked my meal. Food was okay but definitely needed more flavour. Staff are slow and we’re watching tv more than focused on providing good service. Food was not terrible but very flavourless. Not the worst experience but definitely wouldn’t go back. Jerk chicken needs authenticity and this place doesn’t have any of it at all. Don’t recommend as the prices are very high. Save yourself the time and make Kraft dinner at home. Kraft dinner has more flavour and their chicken tasted like they boiled it. Not too yummy at all. This restaurant was also dirty and not looked after. Washrooms were nasty. Lack of proper management. Staff watching tv instead of working.
Some of the best food we’ve had in a long time, I had the loaded Mac with tenders and my partner had the same with wings, everything was so so good, I’m not the best with spice but this was so flavourful that the heat was just delicious. Also some of the best cornbread we’ve had too. Our second time eating heat and won’t be the last.
So delicious, the Mac and cheese is very creamy and the chicken was crispy. We only waited for around 10 mins for our food. And the cashier was very helpful.
So so good! We got the mac and tenders and got both the pasta and tenders to be spicy. The spice was a lot for me but it was still really good. Really quick service, nice cashier, and atmosphere was great! Definitely would recommend.
Went to this restaurant last night. Inside definitely isn’t fancy for a nice dining experience but the food is AMAZING! My family and I bought the loaded mac and cheese, the loaded Rasta pasta, 1lb wings , fries and corn bread. The loaded mac and cheese and the loaded Rasta pasta had enough meat and it was all well seasoned. My Jamaican sister on the first bite had only great comments for the chef. We ate half and were full. A little pricey but each meal can be easily shared between two people. The cornbread needs its own special mention, super good. The only reason I haven’t given a 5 star rating is because the spicy bbq flavour that I chose for the wings had way more pepper than my Jamaican pepper loving family could endure. I definitely go again, choosing a different flavour wings. Highly recommend!
Ordered the food seasoned they gave me it unseasoned with no sauce my girlfriend’s food was made properly. They definatly profiled me based on skin colour, won’t return
I got a glimpse of the kitchen from where I was seated, and let me tell you... what I could see what absolutely disgusting. I think it was the owner/ owner's wife that was back there in open-toed sandals too, which is illegal whether you're a chef, cook or otherwise. I won't be eating here again while there are obvious food safety violations, I shudder to think about the reality that my food was prepared with, and wouldn't be surprised if somebody gets food poisoning, salmonella or worse. Also wouldn't be surprised if this place gets shut down as quickly as it opened. Disappointing, I was so excited to learn about a location opening in Hamilton. Hopefully the Mississauga kitchen isn't this gross.
