Yesterday was a disaster and reflected AL'S need to fix their operational issues. I called at 4:45 pm and placed an order. I asked how long it would be and was told it would be 1 to 1.5 hrs. Knowing it was a busy time, I showed up at 6:15 pm, only to see approx 15 very frustrated people all crammed in the order area all waiting for their orders. I asked a couple of people around me how long had they been waiting. One person indicated that they had placed the order at 1:30pm, for 5:30pm and had been waiting for over 45 mins and did not know when they would get it. Since none of the staff were answering questions so I called AP's phone # . The phone was answered quickly, so I identified that I had previously ordered and was waiting. I asked how long it would be and he indicated that it could be up to another hour. I cancelled the order and left and found an alternative delicious meal. This is a perfect example of no matter how good your product is, customer service will make it or break it. This showed how broken AP's hand on their delivery process is and how lacking their customer caring is. It will be a long time .. if ever ... before I darken AP's doors.
When i tell you, ancaster pizza is the spot to go, i mean it. from amazing customer service. to delicious and flavourful food, ancaster pizza has it all! a family owned store that genuinely cares about quality and good customer service. simply the best! JohnPaul was an excellent employee.
For $4.50 per slice, I wish I had just chosen to skip lunch instead. With Ginos, Pizza Pizza, and Fortino's near by, I know where I'll go next time... Or at least where I *won't* go.
Just ordered a medium pizza with a pound of wings and potato wedges I was shocked on the quality was more like a sit down restaurant very good quality, pizza, and wings great tasting and the quality is well worth the money
The best pizza in the city. Great quality and customer service was great. They were very nice people and you can tell they care about the quality of the food and restaurant.
We had a group order for 6 pizzas and some wings that we placed online, over an hour had passed and we never received our food, so we called and the person there told us that they never received our order - despite us receiving confirmation that the order was placed. They the told us it would be 45 more minutes. 15 minutes later, he called us back and then said the guy cooking them “wanted to go home” and they “couldn’t complete our order”. They said to “call back tomorrow”. Not sure how that would help our situation of trying to feed a group of 12, but at least Jack Astors was open and friendly! Completely altered our plans for the night. Very upset.
First time ordering here. The pizza was AMAZING! The quality is five star at an excellent price point. Just got a simple pizza, but I’m looking forward to trying the wings next time as well. So happy with my discovery here!
