You always hear about how difficult it is to find an honest mechanic. Well let me tell you, Rich is definitely one of them. I had an exhaust leak that I came in to have checked. Rich called me shortly after I dropped it off, explained how much getting a new system would be and how ordering the parts would be a long wait and expensive. He then recommended a custom exhaust shop to me, who were amazing and were able to get me fixed up in 30 minutes for $125. Rich could have taken me for a ride, ordered the parts and left me with a massive bill. A dishonest mechanic would have. He not only did NOT do that, but he made a great recommendation and saved me a pile of dough. He also didn't charge me for the assessment. That, my friends, is the definition of an honest mechanic. I'll be going back for all my auto repair needs. No question.
Call this place up on a Saturday thinking no way I was going to get anybody to help me guy said no problem I'll squeeze you and somehow he squeezed me in got the job done gave me the best price of three other mechanics I called and I actually felt that I wasn't ripped off did a great job recommend this place gives you a piece of mind knowing that there's still some places out there that actually care

Both my parents and myself have been taking our cars here for years. Richard is very honest and has always done a great job for us. He doesn’t try to sell you stuff you don’t need which is appreciated.
Was getting a safety done and needed my exhaust fixed before it could be certified. Mohawk auto was able to get me in faster than any other place and fixed my car in good time. Just a heads up for anyone looking at getting something done to shop around other shops to compare prices. The gentleman gave me the option to go elsewhere if I wanted to so this issue is on me but when I took my car to my regular shop to get tires switched I asked him what he would have charged me for the same work and parts and he said $350 labour and parts in. At Mohawk auto I paid 1200$ for the exhaust to be attached. The exhaust was also a very low quality exhaust (which they did let me know before going ahead with so that again is my issue. I’m just giving a heads up to shop around and check prices before going with these guys because a difference of $850 in work is a big variance. I have learned a lesson myself in this situation as well so half of the issue is me to blame. Other than that they did the work in a good time, got me in faster than anyone, we’re communicative and at the end of the day my car runs fine now.
Would rather walk before I pay this guy a penny. I guess I should be thankful. Years ago I needed a blower motor installed. He quoted me 2 hours work and the does it in 15 minutes. Of course he charged me the full amount. I felt so cheated that I now do 90% of my mechanics work myself. And I am careful about who works on my cars. Thanks Domenic you are a great poster boy for the industry.
