I had come to this place many times over the years; very reasonable and flexible. But sure what happened, but they failed to do a simple job. I brought the vehicle back four more times, after which it still wasn't fixed to basic standards, they still haven't returned the muffler system to anything near stock, and my problems persist. Never again. Simple work; five tries; five failures.. And let's not talk about the details....
Had a ypipe made was a descent job. But i told them 4 times when i dropped off the car you cannot lift this type of car from pinch points. You have to lift from the frame. He said no problem. They did not. Bent both lips on a classic car that survived 20+ years without this happening. Just lost value. Very disappointed.in the pic it is lifted properly.
Worst service ever. I took my car there for an exhaust leak. It had two leaky holes from different spots. After they did their job supposedly. I drove home. The next day i felt car still leaking i check it and it was still leaking from same spots. I called them they told me to bring it at 10 am on a Friday. I get there. The guy said we can't work on it now gotta come back at 2:00 or leave it here and im from stoney creek not hamilton mount hope. Those guys are unprofessional. They should've called and told me to postpone, not me finding out after getting there. 0 stars if i could
I was told my car needed a muffler because it was rusted. Clamps to connect it to pipe, as well as hanger. When I checked what they had done. No muffler was replaced. No hangers were replaced and no clamps were used. They cut the pipe and part of the old muffler and welded a small piece of pipe to to the old muffler and pipe. Complete scam. Do not go there.
I went to 4 different garages to repair my exhaust on a 2009 Grand Caravan that has 655,000 kilometers, all these garages wanted to install a whole new exhaust system ranging from $1,500.00 to $2,800.00. I drive by Affordable Muffler alot a thought I would stop by to see if they can do the work. I talked to Pat and as soon as I said I had a leak near the catalytic converter on the flex pipe he new exactly what I needed, there was a kit to fix my issue. I let pat do the work and he did a fabulous job and the price was as good as his workmanship. Absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend Affordable muffler and have already talked to pat about a couple new mufflers for my 2012 chrysler 300c. Great experience. Thanks Pat for a job well done.
