I've been going here for years and never had an issue with the gas. Sure the pumps are older but they pump gas. Doesn't matter where you go, there's always a chance of getting a bad batch of gas. If they're stating gas is from Shell or Suncor, ask for proof if you don't believe them.
I was always taught to be respectful and show manners. The attendant had neither. I was getting gas and went in to pay and the attendant behind the counter was more concerned talking to whoever was on the phone than to serve the customer. I was treated with his hand out waiting for the money not " that will be x dollars please" nope nothing. So I put the money down on the counter and he grabs without even a thank you. So I said loudly, YOUR WELCOME!!" still no response and still on the phone. On the positive side he was 1.5 cents cheaper than Esso but I thought I would give the little guy the business. I will not be back. Manners are free.
Bought gas here on March 22, 2024. Gas was 2/3 water and caused so much damage it cost $3200 to get my truck back on the road. Still fighting with the owner of the gas station. Do not buy gas here! Eventually got half the cost of repairs from the station.
Warning!!! After filling up gas here, I drove to the Highland Market store (2km) parked the car, and went shopping and when I came out my van wouldn't start. Had to tow it to the dealership which informed me that the gas was contaminated. It was so bad that caused serious damage to my vehicle. Repair itself cost me $1000 plus tow plus lost three days of work. When I went back to tell the owner about it he gave me a run around. This was a horrible experience. Trying to save a couple of dollars ended up spending over $1000. Don't bother, go to the gas station that stands behind the product they are selling. UPDATE: The owner took responsibility and paid for repairs.
DONT GET GAS HERE The gas here is horrible quality and it's contaminated after filling up here my vehicle immediately started sputtering poor acceleration and rough idol, stalling at stop lights. That continued to do so until I put fuel stabilizer in and filled up with fresh from another gas station. it still ran rough until that tank was completely drained and the tank was filled up with good gas . My friend who also fueled up here at the same time had the same problem with his vehicle .
What a pain, i put 15.00 of gas in went in to pay by debit and got charged for 37.00 I couldn't see or make out the screen on the debit machine. I was in a rush i didn't look at the receipt until my wife called to ask why i put so much in ( she was checking our balance before doing shopping) I wanted to call but there was no number listed for them. I went back after work and was told I would have to come back the next day when the guy who served me was back in. I cant take time off work for this. do yourself a favor stay away from this place!
Attended to the store last week and had a banking issue. The gentleman working was extremely rude, uncooperative and insulting. I waited in the store while talking to my bank to try to resolve the matter. I stood at the back so I didn’t get in the way, I was told that I was causing a lot of problems for a little bit of money however he refused to return my money and told me to come back the next day. When I called the following day the same guy hung up on me. When I went into the store he again was very rude and told me I would have to come back Monday, he eventually returned my money but was very unfriendly and not at all costumer service oriented. Will never go here again!
