The lady who works here is very rude. Denied me access to the washroom. It’s funny because I was going to try the chicken joint, get some drinks and pump gas. Headed over to Petro Canada instead where they were super friendly. Looking through other reviews it seems this is a common trend. ESSO should really be looking into the practices here. Customer service is terrible.
I read customers reviews on washroom. Today I faced same problem, lady there is very rude and obviously making excuses of washroom not working. Pathetic experience
I driving the truck and stopped to get lunch. I went to Essa gas station, and the lady there — who was obviously the manager or owner — told me I couldn’t use the washroom because it was “under maintenance.” But that didn’t make sense. She even mentioned that the washroom has been like that for almost 4 weeks. It felt more like an excuse. It’s not fair to customers. People come in to buy food or gas, and they can’t even use the washroom or wash their hands? That’s just bad business.

Very poor experience. I was in the store looking for Indian groceries since they were big on that. Had nothing in stock since they were getting rid of it. Made sense as a business. I picked up the noodles and went to the cashier, she said the noodles were expired and she can sell me as buy one gets one free if I decide to buy. I asked her I’m not buying that and she said I eat it all the time even expired. Happy to report that attitude to the city as business owner myself. I don’t know how people with such poor work ethics and low morals decides to own a business.
If I could give 0 stars I would,, please save yourself the money and do not come here for anything!! The inside of the store smells disgusting, there’s almost no variety for snacks, the package of gummies I did grab were 6$ for a small package! I opened it and had one and they were so old and stale I couldn’t even chew them. I wish this store would close down and open under new iwnership.. absolute terrible
