I’m writing this to respectfully warn the Muslim community. This place advertises that they serve halal food, but the halal items are being cooked using the same oil, same fryer, and same utensils as the non-halal food. This completely goes against halal standards. Many Muslims are eating here without knowing this, so I wanted to make it clear. If you are claiming to serve halal, it needs to be kept separate from non-halal items — different oil, different utensils, different cooking area. Mixing them makes the food not halal anymore. I hope the owner reads this and takes it seriously. Please keep the halal food truly halal by separating everything properly. The community depends on honesty when it comes to halal food.
I accidentally ordered from this pita pit instead of the one on Wilson st in Ancaster through uber. I regret having done so. The portions are quarter of the size. They added red onions, which I didn’t order. Honestly they could have anything else and I would have been happier. Please sense someone from Wilson st to show these folks how it’s done.
I found mushroom in my order (which I didn’t ask for), and I’m pretty sure there was no tzatziki sauce, chipotle mango, pineapple, avocado, or cheese. I looked the entire way. I had requested a side of hummus, which I didn’t get, but maybe that part was forgotten or no side containers? Not very please with my order. But it’s a good portion size. Very filling.
I did not know I came right at closing, but Apana was so sweet and insisted she could still make my order. She was pleasant, attentive and made some great recommendations! Had lunch here. After I ordered and was waiting for a few minutes, they asked me if I ordered online? I had just ordered… I asked for the halloumi falafel bowl, I wanted it regular I have had it before. They added some red thai chili sauce I did not ask for and told me people get it on normally It was disgusting! For the price not worth it, pita pit used to be better
I went to pita pit today afternoon around 1:20pm, and the experience was really bad. When I went to ask for survey card for giving feedback, owner started yelling on me infront of 2 customers and really been rude. This is not the way owners should behave to customers. Worst experience of pita pit till now.
Tried to order my food from here and they told me I had to pay first which is not a problem but there wasn’t even a list of toppings on the side for me to look at !! How can I pay without knowing what I want on my wrap. This method made no sense… They are very unorganized and don’t know what they are doing. I use to love going to this location. Its clear that they are under new management and need help !!!
