I was there getting two subs and the girls that were there were working crazy hours and they were in such good moods, laughing and joking with each other and myself. They deserve to be acknowledged as going over and above what is expected of them and anytime I'm there they are always professional and very sweet to me. So I just wanted to make sure they're bosses knew how wonderful their employees are!! Thanks
Got expired chocolate milk last time, now expired chips, I can only assume he's the franchise owner since he's always there rude and cheap, put one tomato cut in half on a large sub. I really tried but it's always something with this location
As a "premium" sub, the chicken souvlaki was NOT worth the extravagant price. We ordered a large, a small, and a drink. The person making them mistakenly doused the 12-inch in ranch, before wiping it off with a paper towel and putting tzatziki on it (not to mention it was very watery, maybe not safe for consumption). The chicken was completely plain, and very poorly cooked. Its texture was comparable to the frozen chicken that you can buy at the grocery store with grill lines painted on it. For a grand total of $23 for our order, my mother and I were only able to take a bite out of it before having to throw it away. The normal subs may be better; but our experience was poor enough to turn us away from the place permanently.
If you're going to go to this location make sure you do it in the evening when the owner isn't there. If you go during the day the guy will literally act like it's a burden you walked through the door, then you have to ask for more of every topping because he is SO CHEAP and puts like 3 pickle slices across a footlong sub. Would give one star but I've been later in the day and the other employees are great. This guy has got to hire someone else and stay the heck away from his own store. I notice a lot of other reviews saying the same, hope the guy reads these.
This Mr. Sub has the worst food and costumer service I've ever had and experienced in my life. The owner and employees are completely ignorant and I refuse to go there again. It sucks because there really isn't anything to eat in the area. I highly recommend NOT going to the Mr. SUB ON PARKDALE. (PS.the store is NEVER open to the times they post on the site and doors, which is complete B.S)
Never open to there posted hours. They say they are open til 10 but ive shown up at 9pm and he has the open sign off and hes sweeping. No buns to even get a sub. Why bother even posting hours. When i can get a sub the buns are never fresh. I try to go elsewhere when possible.
This place is disgusting, Mr.sub/ the owner of this restaurant needs to get a proper sandwhich unit to keep his food covered as i seen fruit flies on the tomatoes and half the food was not covered by container lids and considering i went on a hot day when i went to bite into the sub all the vegetables were warm this is how you get food poisioning. Never again
