I was excited to try this place and at first everything seemed great. I ordered the general chicken and unfortunately when we bit into our first bite the chicken was as hard as a rock. It felt like sharp shards in our mouths. I called the restaurant (about 10-15 minutes after pickup and was told it was because we picked our order up too late. I asked for 7:30 pickup and I was there at 7:45, and we ate it within about 10 minutes. I was told next time it'll be fresh? There's no way this chicken wasn't left out under a heater for a long time or it was severely over cooked. We couldn't eat it and ended up tossing it. Photo is from other before tossing in the garbage. Waste of money and disappointing that they discarded the complaint. Won't be back.
Food is alright. Not bad. Not great. I had the special low mein and the moo guy pan chicken Noodles are pretty decent Chicken was meh. 3/4 veggies and looks like i maybe got 1/4 of a chicken breast cut up.. not enough meat for what i paid for, dont love it, and the taste is heavily celery like. With the amount of chicken i got, i think i might go to the supermarket for a $10 rotisserie chicken but this isnt enough protien. Would i come back? .. Nyeeaaa maybe.. if im in need of chinese food, id try something different though.
This Chinese take out is the best in the city. We’ve been going here since it opened and the food is always amazing. We always order from here for big events. They never disappoint.
Service & atmosphere I can’t speak on because I got takeout & the interior of the restaurant isn’t for dining in, but food was made on time for my pick up. As for the food, overall pretty good. General & Orange Chicken: 4/5 good portions & flavour with a bit of kick on the general Breaded Shrimp: 3/5 id really recommend a sauce like the sweet and sour with it Mixed Veggies: 3/5 Lacked variety of good vegetables had a lot of onion but seasoned well Noodles: 5/5 really good in taste & portion. Pro Tip ask for a side of gravy and put it on top of your noodles Nothing that will blow your socks off but just a really solid Chinese spot that will satisfy your craving & deliver on its fair price point.
This was my favorite Chinese food restaurant in hamilton. Before they joined uber eats I used to get a third party delivery service to pick up my order as I'm outside of the delivery zone. I placed an order for easter dinner and the chicken chow mein has a shrimp in it. A member of my household has a severe allergy to shellfish that requires a epi-pen. I don't understand how a restaurant can be so careless. DEFINITELY BE CAUTIOUS IF YOU OR ANYONE HAS ALLERGIES AS THIS COULD OF BEEN FATAL.
So we have ordered from here a lot and the food is pretty good, but the other day when we ordered it we found a staple in the rice!! thats right a staple! so we called them up and they said they will give us a free rice when that should have been a lot of apologizing and a total refund. I am not happy what so ever with the customer service and will never be going back!
Tried this place for the first time tonight and was very impressed. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Will definitely be ordering from here again. I’ve tried a lot of Chinese food spots and this one definitely stands out.
