This place specializes in their Deerioca drinks with brown sugar tapioca, but they’re never ready when the store opens. They open at 11:30am, yet the Deerioca drinks aren’t available until about two hours later. It’s frustrating because that’s what they promote and what most people come for. On top of that, the wait time for drinks is always long. I understand there’s only one employee working, but if you’re running a bubble tea shop, it would really help to hire more staff so customers don’t have to wait so long. Overall, it’s disappointing that their main specialty isn’t ready during opening hours and the service is so slow.
Wow I had a drink here the other day called the tiramisu crunchy drink and I have never had something like that in my life before for bubble tea, it was delicious!!! 5/5
Asked for a lime slush, I don’t go the The Alley often so I wasn’t sure of the name. The man at the counter let me know they have nothing of the sort and the closest thing would be a kiwi slush so i ordered that. Turns out, the drink is called a lime green tea. When I let them know that was what I wanted, they said “oh yeah the crushed iced drink”? The guy didnt even start making my drink so I asked if I could change my order but they refused and I had to order again. It was not busy at all there was only one person ahead of me. Terrible customer service. I shouldn’t have to pay extra because the staff don’t know their menu. Never coming back.
I always enjoy coming to The Alley. The drinks are consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy. What really stands out is the service! I want to give a special shout-out to Vicky — she’s always welcoming, patient, and super attentive. Whether it’s recommending drinks or customizing sweetness and ice levels, she handles it with such professionalism. Every visit feels pleasant and well taken care of because of her. Thanks to Vicky, this place has become one of my favorite bubble tea spots!
By far the best bubble tea I’ve ever had. The atmosphere vibe at this place is amazing. The staff here are friendly, and the place can get busy, but never too noisy. The prices are reasonable too, but mostly their main bubble tea is the best I’ve ever had.
The store owner needs to check this location's (near McMaster) bubble's quality. I've been to this location many times. The last two times is March 05, 2025 around 8:30pm and the other time is about 3 weeks ago. Both times the bubbles are quite hard. It tastes under cooked. Very disappointing. I am okay with one "bad day" but this is second time now. I didn't want to write a bad review but when I went to your website, there is no Email under Contact. Only phone number is listed. I love tapioca but I hate it when it's either under cooked (too hard) or not chewy (re-heated).
Just ordered a Deerioca Fever, the drink is over priced and the tapioca balls are extremely hard and it's almost impossible to chew them. Edit** I had my drink right away after I ordered it, so it wasn't like I waited 2 hrs for the tapioca balls to harden to leave a bad review....
