I stopped in on my way home from work. I was craving a sweet treat to enjoy after a long, exhausting week. Pleasant, attentive service and a wonderful selection made my visit most enjoyable! Exquisite baklava as well as fresh roasted nuts...and cookies too. I bought a variety of baklava and almonds, better than any packaged product. The owner, Elie, is super friendly. This store is a hidden gem!
Very friendly people who always go above and beyond. Hands down the best coffee and desserts in town! Prices are also very reasonable compared to other places. Highly recommended
If you're trying to get food-poisoned and spend the rest of your day in the emergency, then this is your go-to place. The owner is extremely rude and disrespectful. The food is either expired or about to be. We bought some sweets for a celebration and when we got home we saw a WORM inside the PLASTIC PACKAGED+SEALED candy. We told the owner about this and showed him the worm but he immediately denied it and said that we put it inside when the package is clearly sealed. He then started cussing and swearing at us while pushing us outside of his store and started threatening that if we tell anyone he would harm us "in a way we can't even imagine" according to him. I was telling a friend about this story and he told me that he's heard this same incident happen to many of his friends. I've never seen a more impolite person in my life. This will however be reported to the Health and Safety department with vedios and other types of evidence and hopefully this store gets closed down for violating the health & safety regulations.
Avoid this place at all costs. I recently bought a bunch of fudges and other items from here and found a WORM in it. Yes you read that right!!! See the video attached!! And found mold and worm feces and eggs in another piece of the same type. When I brought it back to the owner complaining, he denied that it's from his merchandise while there's literally nothing else in that bag except for items that were bought from his store. The owner faced the situation in the worst way possible. He talked to me in a horrible manner. Instead of apologizing for the dangerously unhealthy items he is selling, and after argumentation he literally followed my son outside the store yelling at him, insulting him, and slandering us in an inhumane way. He even threatened my son to cause him more harm and pretended to take down his license plate. He might seem friendly from the first impression but only when you deal with him you will realize how filthy of a human being he is. He will claim that the negative reviews are from a campaign but this is nonsense. Does he only expect 5-star reviews. See for yourself the evidences are there. احذروا الشراء من هذا المحل .... اشتريت حلويات العيد فوجدت فيها دود كما هو واضح بالفيديو . راجعت المحل لإرجاع مااشتريت فكانت ردة الفعل صادمة جداً. أراد أن يتملص من الأمر فقال أن الدودة ليست من بضاعته والحلوى مغلقة ولكني وجدت قبلها قطعة أخرى يتضح مخلفات الدود والعفن فيها، ولو نظرت في الباقي لوجدت أكثر. المالك واجه الأمر بأسوأ طريقة يتخيلها العقل. طريقة كلام ومعاملة في منتهى الانحطاط والإساءة، لدرجة أنه بعد مشادة كلامية خرج من محله للصراخ والسباب بأفظع الكلمات والطرق حتى بلغ به الأمر أن يهدد من معي بالإساءة بشكل أكبر. البائع خداع، تحسبه من الوهلة الأولى أنه أطيب من على الأرض، لكن بعد تعاملك معه سترى ما يحمله من خبث ودناءة.
I really don't know how place like this continues to run with so rude staff. I think they need a training to have proper customer service skills. I had really horrible experience when I went to buy Baklava.
Great place for fresh nuts and deserts....I forgot to mention that customer service is amazing there.....super nice ppl.....their products r AAAA grade...
