This store has the BEST selection of Arabic goods in all of Hamilton. You can find almost anything you’re looking for in here. Also the customer service is incredible! Love this place!
I’m from the states, we have so many Mediterranean stores but like Salti’s Store I’ve never seen as far as the customer service and the delicious food specifically the grilling it is the best Falafel and kabobs I’ve had in my life, great family running the supermarket and the best prices ever. I recommend this supermarket to everyone. Please try it and you will never regret it. I promise

I recently visited Salti’s Medina on Fennell Ave in Hamilton and had a really good experience overall. What I liked right away is that it’s not just a restaurant but also a grocery store, so you can do a bit of shopping while also grabbing something to eat. They carry a good variety of groceries, especially Middle Eastern and halal products, which makes it a great spot to pick up items you don’t always find in regular supermarkets. From fresh bread and spices to other essentials, the selection was impressive and convenient. On the restaurant side, I decided to try one of their wraps, and it was excellent. The wrap was freshly made, flavorful, and filling, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and of good quality. It definitely felt like good value for the price. I also noticed they have other hot food options that looked delicious, so I’d like to come back and try more from their menu next time. The customer service was another highlight of my visit. The staff were very polite, friendly, and willing to help — whether it was preparing the food quickly or pointing out some grocery items in the store. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and everything was well-organized. I would definitely recommend Salti’s Medina if you’re looking for a spot that combines tasty food with a solid grocery selection. I’ll for sure be returning soon.
I love this store. Every time I visit Hamilton it’s a must I come here. The staff is awesome and they have a huge selection of Arabic food. Feels like I’m back home.
I was there today as first time and I was shocked by cleanliness level. The main entrance the stairs to the washrooms are very dirty. The urine smells in the washrooms is disgusting. Cleanliness in any business is first impressions to new customers. I don't think it cost them much to fix these issues. Owners need these feedback to improve their business if they care about their customers. Also rude cashier girl,need to learn basic customers service.
Being a regular customer didn’t stop Merry from being very rude and unprofessional with kids of 9 y old shouting at them because they just eats few nuts. In all my visits i always spend between $300 to $500 buying stuff. I will never ever go again there after this incident. Shopping from other halal stores definitely will make them appreciate my business instead of insulting me or my kids for few nuts.
