Recently stopped in to this store as I was in the area, I’ve been here a few times. The store is clean and they have a lot of products. It does seem like there variety of products is decreasing, I was looking for Fry’s chocolate and they had two packs, normally they have lots or all flavors. Their selection of crisps seems to be getting less and less, I know there were issues with walkers in the UK but other British shops have larger selections. I can appreciate that prices have gone up but it appears that recently the price hike has been considerable. It could be the cost of importing , I’m not sure but it’s unfortunate. Their baked goods always look fresh and well stocked. I expected a little more as it’s close to Christmas but again maybe it had already sold Nice store, friendly staff
Very quick visit to this place on a recent trip to Ontario area. Spotted the sign for the one in London but only had time to stop in here at Hamilton. It's been a while since I had scotch eggs and that was the main reason for the visit. Excellent scotch egg for sure, I should have bought more than 4! they are all gone already. Just wish there was something like this near Cleveland Ohio.
Really disappointed with the quality, I may be comparing to Danny's opies but British prides steak pie was dry, the sausage patties were freezer burnt, I accidently bought expired potato scones and they don't sell plutty dumpling or tomato sausage? Who has a scottish breakfast without it. So disappointed
Came in to check things out as we live handy, and we were immediately greeted, there were sooo many different options of treats and snacks and groceries. We also grabbed some of the meat pies and the steak and ale was fabulous!! I can’t wait to go back!
I went here for my first time on Wednesday and the muffins I bought were delicious! The staff is extremely helpful and welcoming. Everything is displayed very well for shopping ease, and I will be back.
A bright, well stocked store , very friendly staff and an abundance of goodies from back home. What can be wrong? -Way over priced compared to other retailers selling similar goods. Wouldn't take long to drop$80 -$100 in this store. Sorry , will stick with the devil I know!
Loved this store, but unfortunately they're no longer well stocked. Shelves are half bare. Looked for clotted cream last week, the most basic item and no stock. Are they gearing down? It used to be so good. 5 stars given for encouragement.
