I've been to Beyond the Batter a dozen times in the last few years and they continue and consistently provide quality goods and services. In particular I would like to spotlight Candice, who has been a kind and easy to speak to person. She has recognized my needs, given valuable feedback and never rushes or pushes her patrons. All of my peers, staff and friends have enjoyed Beyond the Batter and I hope to enjoy it for decades to come. Thank you Candice.
Use to love this place as their cupcakes are amazing when made right but over the past year or so they’ve become inconsistent. Tried to be respectful as I noticed other reviews with the same experience so I reached out via email instead of leaving a bad review. Response was a bit of a gas light and 0 accountability…. Unfortunately I will not be returning for the inconsistent cupcakes.
I ordered on uber eats for my friends birthday and called to ask if a birthday message w could be included. I called less than five minutes after ordering the cupcakes and the associate on the phone told me they had already completed the order and included all the things i mentioned in the notes of my delivery! Very much appreciated as a lot of businesses never look at the personal notes in deliveries! Amazing service and delicious cupcakes!!
So first thing first, it is expensive but then again it is unique, delicious and fresh so worth the experience. Also it is a nut free environment but double check with them in case.
I’m am surrounded by great bakeries in Toronto but I am always impressed with beyond the batters selection, quality and freshness. From the cupcakes, cookies and brownies you cannot go wrong. I recently tried sprinkles cupcakes in New York City and beyond the batter was BEYOND better and fresher. Also cheaper. Every time I visit my hometown I want to stop by !!
Purchased 6 today for New Year’s Eve. Very disappointed unfortunately No flavour, not fresh even the kids wouldn’t eat them. Not what they used to be. Wasted $21.00 extremely overpriced and poorly made
Used to come here often for a treat while I'm traveling to Hamilton for work. Absolutely LOVE their cupcakes: a great size with superb quality to match! Their flavours are unique, cake is moist with very delicious buttercream. I will be heading back to Hamilton for more :)
