I went into Melanie Lyne on Dec 10.25 was served by Mira I purchased a coat wasn't completely in love with it but could work for me I asked Mira what the refund policy was and she stated 14 days as I knew I really wasn't loving it but bought it thought I go home try it on with my dress shoes etc as it turns out I did not like it went back to the store 13 days after as I was told I had 14 days and she regret informed me that I only had 10 days from date of purchase when my bill clearly stated any purchase made between Nov and Dec can be return in Jan due to the Christmas break she insisted I come back on Monday to chat with the manger. Called spoke to the manger that clearly did not want to make her client happy to tell me she can't her store has a strict policy . Not happy with Mira as she lied to me about her return policy and not happy with the manager . You're gonna tell me either of them could not make an exception after I was lied to and the receipt itself stated I could return it . The manger tells me to read the back of the receipt . I am totally disgusted and will Not Return back and will continue to tell my friends the awful experience I had . I don't want a credit for that store I refuse to shop at Melanie Lyne .
Today I am very happy to shopping in ML Hamilton because Mira made my day, she helped to confirm my size, steam my jacket, and her attitude treated me just like a best friend. Definitely I will come to shop again. Happy Thanksgiving Mira.
I went to Melanie Lyne on September 28th an hour before their closing time. Rochelle and one other staff member attended me and my mother. Their service was amazing, and they are great at building a rapport with customers. Rochelle especially worked hard with us to find outfits we'd like and to give her expert opinion on clothing.
I love Melanie Lyne but will never shop at this location again! The service is absolutely horrible and the staff gossips about customers while they are in the change room. Such a disappointing experience.
I went prom dress shopping with my daughter and had originally shopped at the Burlington location. Nobody asked if we needed help at anytime during our shopping experience. We picked a couple dresses and proceeded to try them on..found a dress she liked but needed it in a larger size. Went up to the counter, asked if they could look and the lady at the counter said the system shows they have one and it was at this location, but they couldn't find it? It's a $400 dress..I would think it was important to find but both ladies shrugged it off and said it's probably a mistake in thier inventory..not once did they ask if they could take our number and call if they find it. A week later..we went to the Hamilton location to see if we would have better luck..nope. Still no offer to help, not even a greeting! Im very disappointed. We found a dress on our own that she loved for $450!!! This is the only time I didn't walk away from poor customer service because it was a hard dress to find and sizes were limited. Melanie Lyne..you need to better train your staff to take care of and show your customers are appreciated...I gave 2 stars only for the selection of dresses and that's all!
I am a long time customer at Laura's. Today I was pleasantly surprised when the manager of Laura's at Limeridge Mall in Hamilton personally delivered the clothing I had ordered on line. The tops are beautiful and fit well. A big round of applause goes to the manager, Nada, who not only ensured that I received the items but also took the time for a little socially distanced chat.
Best store on the mall. Very professional and friendly staff. I would not go anywhere else for my wardrobe. They always greet me a smile. They are very helpful. Keep up the great work ladies!
