Our Ford Escape transmission was shot, Sampson was extremely thorough and transparent in explaining all the details and costs and warranty… because of that…we felt very comfortable with them. They also checked the rest of the car to make sure it was worth spending the money on the transmission before starting. Such honest guys!!! We are going to bring all our vehicles to Sampson for all other mechanical needs. We didn’t know that the licensed mechanic does a lot of other auto repairs and not just transmissions. Super guys! My husband and I are very happy with the service they provided us! Honestly don’t waste your time looking around.. these guys came highly recommended and we recommend them too! A great big thank you from Kathy!!! Update.Two weeks later….We went back to Sampson for some other work needed on my daughter’s car.(unrelated to the transmission). The front end was making some noise and we decided to not take it to the Ford dealership because they seem to always charge way too much! Sampson looked it over, test drove it and tweaked a couple things and was extremely honest with us reassuring us the noise was only from a loose clamp and a inner fender needed washers and bolts they fixed it and only charged us for 30 minutes of service. WOW that was amazing and no upsell. Thanks again to Mathew and Kevin the mechanic, you guys are appreciated more than you know!
What a waste of money Typical shop to not take any responsibility for an easy diagnosis. They found the fuel leak after returning with no change to the problem. $1000 later my truck was worse with even more problems. My engine light is still on well after their misdiagnosis. Funny how many reviews are posted right after a bad one saying great job to bring their stars up. Sad. Only fool me once
Highly recommend Sampson for auto repairs and transmission I am a retired automotive service technician truck and Coach technician but not physically able to do my own repairs anymore I made an appointment last week to bring it in and when I brought it in Roger made me feel very comfortable leaving it with him willing to go the extra mile for a customer great price the repairs were done very fast and efficiently thank you Roger and staff I'll be back
First, they charge $400 for engine diagnostic then They kept my car more than a week and charged me way over price that they said on the phone to fix the problem. Turn on my car today and the sound still so loud. Driving on the street with some noise at the back of the car. I call and ask them what happened then they said not responsible for that . I felt really disappointed.
My car was having some issues, and Roger and his team were quick, efficient, more than reasonably priced, and kind and courteous. They were able to diagnose the problem, order the part needed, and fix the car all by the next day. Their after hours drop off/pick up process is seamless, and I will be returning should my vehicles ever need to be looked at again. Thanks guys!
