The food is disgusting! I wouldn’t even eat it for free. It’s literally pigeon food. I almost puked from how bad it tasted. Don’t even get me started on the quality. Horrible tacos I’ve ever had in my life.
The portions were larger than expected, and the food was excellent. The only area for improvement is the coffee — it could definitely be better. Overall, it’s a great spot for breakfast. The croissant order comes with three croissants, which was a pleasant surprise. Prices are affordable
Please double check your receipt when you dine here!! I've been here 3 times and the server has made mistakes on our receipt the last 2 times. The first time, the server had just mixed up the bills for two tables (and it was an honest mistake), but the most recent time, our server overcharged us by 40 dollars and argued with us for 20 minutes when we brought it up to her, refusing to refund us to correct it until a second staff member got involved. She didn’t even aplogize for her mistake! We will not be going back. Disappointing that their staff is so impeccably rude and incompetent because the food is not bad.
The food here is delicious and the ambience is warm and cozy. What truly makes this restaurant stand out is the exceptional service. Our waitress Diana was an absolute gem. She is one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. When I asked to switch my dessert she took care of it right away with a smile that made us feel welcome and appreciated. At the end of our meal Michael brought the bill and when we told him how wonderful Diana had been he surprised us with a beautiful hand painted Mexican mug. That thoughtful gesture made the evening unforgettable. This was an outstanding experience from beginning to end and we will definitely be coming back.
ordered biarra tacos online, absolutely no flavour, super dry, no broth to dip in, very underwhelming and not worth the money they charge for it. ended up feeding it to my dog :(
The Quesabirria is truly unreal here! Excellent and friendly service as well. One of the best Mexican restaurants Hamilton has to offer. Highly recommend visiting Los Mayas!
I ordered take out from here, but due to the soup lid coming off in transit, the bag soaked through and everything spilled into my car when I picked it up. Not only did they replace all of the food for free, 2 employees came and and shampooed my car seat. This was WAAAAY above and beyond. And the food was excellent!
