(Sunday Sept 14th approx 1pm) the woman working today is amazing! Fantastic employee! I’m not sure how to get in touch with management to tell them that so I left a voice mail to corporate and a review here! She was AMAZING! My husband and I came to eat there today while moving and I’m so glad we picked here. I have a gluten and dairy allergy, she was so attentive and caring and sweet, she handled everything amazingly, knew all the allergen info for all the ingredients, was so friendly to talk to! 10/10 employee experience! Thank you for taking such care with my food as I often have to fear eating out and today I felt confident that I could eat without fear so thank you!!! ? (management if you read this, give her a raise please, make sure you keep her around!) Will definitely be coming back!
One of the best Spicy chicken bowl ever! Super loaded and spicy just the way I wanted it!! Really recommend this location -very clean ,very professional and everything was super fresh. Thank you :)
Extremely arrogant staff specially the Chinese lady(I believe she is) doesn't know how to make tacos. She was rude all the time while she was making tacos. The worst tacos I ever had in my life. Get her fired before you lose more customers for such inefficient staff. The Indian girl was polite to the customers though. She even suggested customers about what combination of burrito tastes good.
BarBurrito is your average burrito place that’s a cookie cutter approach to burritos. Items are pre-made and put together by staff. Nothing fancy and nothing too boring. The sizes are shown between small, regular and large. They are definitely not an accurate portrayal. The regular size is like the small size when you look at the length. It’s not what you put into it either. Everyone’s was like that. The toppings are very basic and more Americanized than Mexican. Interesting this place charges $1.00 more for guacamole which is a rip off. Tomatoes cost more than avocados. They do it for no reason whatsoever. Protein toppings are prefabricated meats. Heat and serve. They are not grilling this stuff for you. Perhaps microwaving it. Once you are done with your choice of toppings they press it like you’re ironing something at the end. It’s better than subway. It’s better than meltwich with is also in the same lane. It’s also better than the nandos there. Note quite Mexican at all. You’re not going to get sick. You’ll know what you’re getting from franchise to franchise. What would have been great is if they had a mom and pop type burrito place made to order. At the end of the line when you pay it asks for a tip. This is a fast food restaurant like McDonald’s, Burger King etc. The tip culture needs to go. You don’t tip at subway or mr sub.
Food is good and there is always value delivered. I would have rated them higher if any of the apps or delivery services were reliable. I am told they shut off Skip at times, as well as their own app. I downloaded their app and the Winona location doesn't even come up. Why would you shutdown the apps that help people interact with your business more easily?
We ordered the Family Fiesta kit through Skip the Dishes and it was great! Getting tacos delivered is always risky, and our local place failed big time compared to these guys, because they did it right. The meal serves 6, but our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 young kids) had enough left over to make lunch the next day with extra wraps we had. The food tasted great, great portions, great sauce and it was delivered quickly. My wife actually called the restaurant immediately after dinner just to give them some positive feedback. We will defiantly order for them again and maybe try the chicken or pulled pork next time. The only thing that needs more attention is their salsa, it was very bland and needs more flavour.
