It is rare that I give 5 stars to any businesses, specially the food ones, but, this little joint run by husband and wife it did really earn it. Considering, I come from Toronto and the choices are more than here in Hamilton, I guess Darband bit most of the Kebab joint in Toronto with large margin. I tried last night their Vaziri and I share with another person, we both agreed that the food was just right. I went few night before and look at their stews, it was fresh and delicious. If they add the Nan, Persian Bread, to it, that would make this place a perfect place to go for take out.
They have very delicious foods. Also, we order for to go and their togo box were really strong and keep the food warm. The people who work there are so nice. I highly recommend other people to try their food.
Good food with good people. There is only one problem. The delivery system doesn't work or at least for me doesn't work, since when I get to check out it asks to write a street name or an establishment while there is no place for it in the website!
Simply amazing. Best Iranian food in the GTA. The Chicken (Joojeh) Kebab will literally melt in your mouth and bring tears to your eyes. The Lamb Shank (Baghali) is exquisite (request a little extra gravy). The family run kitchen's warmth and care shines through with their food. Must try for all foodies and anyone craving the best kebabs in the GTA. The Cucumber Yogurt (Maast-O-Khiar) is a must with your meal.Side note: Best for takeaway as it has a max seating for 6/8. Their take away containers are indeed amazing and nothing is missed bringing it home and getting lost in the deliciousness.P.S. Almost forgot about the crispy rice piece and grilled tomatoes, words can't describe, all I can say is, you are in for a treat.
