Lots of flavours to choose from. Scoop size is decent. Loved the ones that we tried out. Niagara peach one was sold out, that must be popular flavour. One downside though was that service was too slow and lines were too long due to one person taking orders and serving ice cream. Still, highly recommend this place.
The brunette young lady working the cash register and taking orders has an extremely terrible attitude problem and needs to be fired immediately and should not have any job remotely close to customer service I am disgusted in her behaviour!!! And I am a long time customer and I will not be coming back until she’s fired ***STAY AWAY**** as long as she’s working there
Plenty busy as there were multiple little league baseball games going on the day I went. Parking was a zoo. Be sure to check the baseball schedules for the park before going. Loads of flavours to choose from, including vegan and lactose free.
Welcome to Ancaster Ice Cream Parlour, a delightful haven for ice cream enthusiasts boasting an impressive selection of over 120 flavors that cater to every palate. During our visit, we were particularly excited to find The London Ice Cream Company's offerings, and our taste buds were certainly in for a treat. The premium quality of all their ice creams ensured a delightful experience, though we couldn't resist trying the novelty of cookie cones, which, while fun, may not be worth the additional cost for a repeated visit. Flavors and Selection: The highlight of Ancaster Ice Cream Parlour is undoubtedly their extensive variety of ice cream flavors. With over 120 to choose from, the options seemed endless, ranging from classic favorites to unique and innovative creations. The London Ice Cream Company's presence was a real delight for us, as we had been searching for this brand for quite some time. It's evident that the establishment takes pride in curating a diverse array of flavors, making it a haven for all ice cream connoisseurs. Quality and Taste: All the ice creams at Ancaster Ice Cream Parlour are of premium quality, ensuring that each scoop delivers a luscious and creamy experience. During our visit, we indulged in four cones, three of which were single scoops and one with two scoops. Every flavor we tried was rich and bursting with genuine ingredients, indicative of the establishment's commitment to providing the best ice cream in town. The London Ice Cream flavor, in particular, was a standout, captivating our taste buds with its balanced sweetness and velvety texture. Cookie Cones: As adventurous ice cream lovers, we opted for the cookie cones on our visit. While they added an element of fun and novelty to our ice cream experience, we felt that the taste did not live up to the traditional cone. The cookies lacked the crispy texture we associate with a classic cone, and their flavor slightly underwhelmed the ice cream, leading to an imbalanced taste profile. While trying them once was enjoyable, we would recommend sticking to the traditional cones on future visits. Pricing: With a variety of premium ice cream flavors and quality offerings, Ancaster Ice Cream Parlour charges a reasonable price for its scoops. However, it's essential to keep in mind that the cost can add up quickly, especially if you opt for additional toppings or novelty items like the cookie cones. We spent $36 on our order, which consisted of four cones, with the two-scoop cone contributing to a significant portion of the total cost. Nevertheless, given the premium quality of the ice cream, the overall price was justifiable. Ambiance and Service: The ambiance at Ancaster Ice Cream Parlour exudes a cozy and welcoming vibe, making it an ideal spot to enjoy some delectable frozen treats with family and friends. The staff members were friendly and attentive, offering helpful recommendations from their vast array of flavors. The only minor downside was the wait time, especially during peak hours when the line tended to get quite long. However, the delicious ice cream made up for any minor inconvenience. Conclusion: Ancaster Ice Cream Parlour is a flavor-packed gem that leaves no stone unturned in its quest to provide a delightful ice cream experience. With an impressive selection of over 120 flavors, including The London Ice Cream Company's offerings, you're sure to find something that tantalizes your taste buds. The premium quality of their ice creams ensures a luscious and satisfying treat. While we found the cookie cones to be a fun experiment, their taste didn't warrant the additional cost on subsequent visits. All in all, Ancaster Ice Cream Parlour is a must-visit for ice cream enthusiasts seeking an array of flavors and a memorable indulgence in a warm and inviting ambiance.
Happy to find a place with vegan and dairy free options with choices other than sherberts. Generous portions. Cheerful staff in spite of being VERY busy
Be careful checking your order here when buying ice-cream in bulk. They make errors and don't own up to it. Happy to take your money and its no bargain, but not happy to put things right.
Lots and lots of flavors, right next to picnic tables, the bleachers and the natural amphitheatre around the Little League baseball. Also lots of wasp traps to attempt to minimize the little Yellowjacket thieves stealing your ice cream.
