We had a great experience working with stone on the go. The showroom was really well laid out and they had pictures to show us of the different counter options in existing spaces. From the time of measurement to installation was just under a week. The installers were really professional and accommodating. Would recommend to family and friends.
Terrible post install service, blames crack on weight or hot items just like all the other people. Owner Heather doesn’t even have the decency to call me back after requesting a call. Do yourself a favour and believe all these reviews, I wish I checked these reviews before using this company. Countertops only year old and will have to replace in the next couple years, DO NOT USE THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY. They use thin quartz and bulk up the front facing edge to make it look like a thick piece of quartz, maybe this is why everyone’s countertops are cracking in the same spots. I have looked at a bunch of friends quartz countertops and no one else’s are fabricated like this. Wish I knew this before and read some reviews online. Their only solution is to pay them some more money and they will replace them. Sorry your company doesn’t deserve a cent more.
I am a repeat customer of Stone On The Go and sadly will never retain their services ever again. We had an island countertop installed last year, followed by two kitchen countertops installed a few weeks ago. Even though they laser measure before install, they don’t have to follow those measurements or the specifications set out by faucet manufacturers during the installation (odd right?) In our case, the installer cut the hole of our faucet sprayer half-an-inch under the Kohler minimum specifications without checking either the laser measurement that Stone On The Go did, the specifications set out by Kohler or even asking me prior to drilling the hole whether we would want it less than the minimum specifications set out by Kohler (a point which the installer clearly disputes since their job is probably at stake). When speaking with Heather, she communicated that all holes are drilled on-site and that it’s a “communication issue” as to why the installer drilled a hole under the specifications set out by the faucet manufacturer - quite frankly a cop-out for her employee screwing up and a real ‘too bad so sad’ response. When the installer came back to try to fix the sprayer, the solution was to raise it at the back so that it sat farther forward compared to the rest of the faucet. I even paid a plumber to come and see what could be further done and his expert assessment was that the sprayer could either hit the cold water handle, or stick up at the back…an unfortunate ending when all we wanted was the countertop we paid for♂️. Overall, the customer service at this company is terrible and I would advise anyone considering hiring Stone On The Go to drive a little farther down the highway and go to Stonex instead.
We recently purchased new quartz kitchen counter tops from Stone On The Go – the entire process from choosing the stone to having it installed was very quick and easy. We did shop around and found the best price here, they had the product in stock and we had everything installed in about a week. Very happy with the entire experience, will definitely come back for future projects. Highly recommend!
Heather is a great communicator, she answers email quickly which makes the process smooth. Definitely would recommend her products due to the great level of service. I can’t wait to do my kitchen next. Two bathrooms down!
Just had our countertops replaced. Great selection of products at the store. Heather and her team of installers were nothing short of professional. Heather always responded to our email questions and there were no surprises when it came time for installation. Her install team were clean, courteous, efficient and wore masks the entire time in and out of the house. I would recommend them.
