I inquired about getting a wall mounted fireplace. Fiona pointed me right to something that I loved and worked perfect in the space. She set up the delivery and I had my fireplace in no time at all. Overall great customer service and I will for sure be back!
Pure garbage! I've had 9 other gas fireplaces and NEVER needed a service call. Got this one about 6 years ago and have had to have them come back several times. Called today for yet another service call and they want another $250 to show up. Way overpriced! Never buy one from here again.
Have had nothing but problems with a gas fireplace insert purchased through this company in 2021. The flames and pilot would go out after 30-60 seconds in cold weather every time. Two service visits (including a visit from the owner Brian who was very nice but unaware of the extent of the problem) and numerous emails and all they could say is “we found nothing wrong with it” on each visit. They just didn’t leave it on long enough to see the pilot light and flames go out. Sadly our new fireplace has not been functional for 3 years and I didn’t know what to do, given Goemans posture on the problem being me. I wish I had done this earlier, but I decided to seek a second opinion to better understand the problem. Dave, a technician with over 30 years of experience, thoroughly inspected the installation and spent an hour testing and assessing the setup. During his visit, he also consulted Jeff, a Napoleon technician, to confirm his findings. It appears that the issue stems from the use of a 2" intake liner, whereas the installation manual clearly specifies that both the intake and exhaust chimney liners should be 3" in diameter. I’ve emailed Goemans on 12/11/24 in the hopes they will do the right thing and take ownership for this improper installation and fix this under warranty. It’s been long overdue. For now, I can’t recommend this company given my experience. Will update this review if/when I hear back from them. Fingers crossed.
We went to Goemans Fireplaces to look for an outdoor gas unit. Fiona walked us through the process and gave us several options to think about. There was no sales pressure and she provided a lot of information to my husband and I. Once we decided, the installation team did a great job running the gas line, cleaning up and walked us though how to use and maintain the fireplace. We love our new backyard oasis. I would highly recommend Goemans Fireplaces!
From the initial quote to the final installation of our fireplace insert, I cannot say enough of the professionalism this company provided. Any and all questions were answered. You’d be hard pressed to find a more efficient and hardworking crew then the fellas that did the install. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone! Two thumbs up!
