Dominic and his team are very professional, very informative and knowledgeable. They are incredibly helpful and they always promptly service what they sell. I purchased 5 fireplaces and a log set from them and I will definitely be a returning customer. I called to have one of my fireplaces serviced and cleaned, they showed up the same day, they did an outstanding job! I would recommend Distinctive Fires to anyone! Outstanding!
Came out to service our gas fire. Friendly and professional. Explained everything including work that might need to get done in the future. Wouldn't hesitate to call them again.
Absolutely atrocious quality & customer service. They hacked a hole through my exterior wall and literally taped a plastic insulated duct to the back of my fireplace and charged me $500. When I asked them to repair it they didn’t even respond. Have tried multiple times. Con artists. See photos.

The owner of this place consistently parks directly in front of the store impeding the traffic for everyone in the plaza, especially persons with disabilities as well as deliveries to other businesses in the plaza. Not to mention there are Fire route bi-laws in place and the parking lot has plenty of available parking. If he has this little care for his business neighbours and customers that may have disabilities, I’d imagine it also reflects the quality of work and service.
Unfortunately went in store and owner did not seem interested to sell me a fireplace of the dimensions I asked. He stated he had too much inventory and did not want to buy size I was interested in and tried to sell me a smaller item from floor. Then told me to go home and research online. Will never return!
