I love this store, I love the employees (the original ones not so much the new guys they keep getting to work nights tho) anyways the owners are great I love the wife she's so great, I've been going to this store for 9 years and the selection of products have exceeded its limits there's just so many things in the store the only issue I have is there expired products I actually will not buy food from here anymore not after getting multiple sandwiches rotten and too many brownies and pumpkin pie tarts were just infested in furry mold and the sad part is I'm blind almost completely so when I grab a tart or whatever in the dark I eat it than I get my husband telling me what I almost just ate (the tart beside the one I took was growing legs basically) but other than that this store is great.
I have made key at that shop. First time was mistake, some guy made another one. Again mistake. When I came with a key that guy asked me: “How much time ago it was?” (I have no idea, maybe 3 weeks, maybe one month, that shop not at my way) I told that. Than this guy told me that he is sorry. Okay, put that key to the garbage, I said. No, I can’t do that—tells guy with iron teeth (have no idea what his name) — I will not touch it. So it was very strange cos that guy was always friendly. I feel ugly now IF YOU CANNOT DOING NORMAL KEYS WHY YOU ARE KEEP DOING IT? 4 buks it’s 4 bucks, right?
Owner is fantastic! All the staff are friendly always greet you with a smile. They have all your basic needs without having to go to a large grocery store. They have now include vape express also beer wine and coolers.
Expired dairy products! Be aware please. You won't be able to prove anything to them if you will want to return expired products. The store owner takes advantage of old people that don't check expiration dates. This sucks((
Always check expiration dates on dairy products and sandwiches there. Sometimes they are expired!!! The store owner does not care when selling expired products. Also, they quite often forget to put bought items in your bag.
Huge disturbance to the neighbouring apartments. From increased afterhours trucking to increased loitering and loud music, sometimes the employees. There's a bit of a "convenience" monopoly it seems. The prices are intensely high and bit mismatched to the product or weight for a great deal. A wide variety of product, but a large quantity of things like NoName, or Kirkland at a wild markup. Considering I've seen products cleared off dollar store shelves and restock in the stores down here, I try to stick to buying the bare minimum
Since these new owners have taken over,the store is AMAZING . Super nice ,attentive and fast staff the selection is crazy . I visit alot of lil stores each day and this definitely has to be my favorite best stocked store . . Btw a variety of goods allows a broader spectrum of savings ...even a cool clearance section .
