I have been collecting comics for a long time and one of my fondest memories is going to Comic 1 Book store back in the early 90's. I am glad that the new owner Paulo is continuing the legacy. Great customer service and selection of Comic books /collectibles at a fair price. Highly Recommended!!
I don't think I can write enough praises for Paolo and Comic 1 books. Paolo does such an amazing job with the place, he's incredibly welcoming, always smiling and happy to chat, and the store has so many things, from more popular stuff to more niche thingies. And if he doesn't have something by chance, Paolo will find and get it. He's the definition of going above and beyond for clients! Again, 5 stars are not enough!
Awesome comic shop with an awesome owner, Paulo! Plenty of inventory and variants to choose from, mostly newer stuff not too much in the way of older back issues. Great place to talk shop & philosophy while grabbing some newer editions.
Best comic store bar none, Paolo is the apsolute GOAT who will put you on and give you deals like no other. No corprate bs just passion, get in here and drop 20$ on a few new books you won't regret it
I was driving by and had to stop in because of the reviews. The owner Paulo was the definition of a humble and genuine soul. He was welcoming, knowledgeable and clearly doing this out of love and not just business. To Paulo, I didn’t get the time to browse properly but I will be back very soon my friend. Your passion, dedication and enthusiasm for simply creating a space where collectors can browse, gather and buy was uncanny. The customer service here is amazing, I had the best experience I’ve ever had shopping this past week after finding this store. He is the kindest man with an evident love and passion for comics that you don’t find at most shops these days. I will be purchasing my comics from here moving forward. :) If you love comics and are in the area, I advise you to please check out this store, you won’t be disappointed. Also, there’s an incredible selection of back issues, I was able to find an entire comic run (with over 30 issues) I had been searching for and couldn’t find anywhere else. This place is the best!
This is my favourite comic store in the area. Paolo is wonderful and always goes out of his way to assist. He always remembers my favourite comics and will set aside comics before they head to the discount bins. I had to find a new comic store after my local one closed, and I'm so happy that this is my go-to now. Highly recommend for my fellow comic nerds.
