My husband and I decided to try this place out as we were looking for a bite to eat after the Ancaster Christmas market - it did not disappoint! We ordered some sushi and the Thai Lemongrass seafood and both were incredibly fresh and flavourful. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly, and the ambience was great - clean, well decorated and some holiday music added to the vibe. Thank you for the great experience!
Stopped in very near to closing Dec 10th ( felt bad will come earlier next time ) but the staff was amazing. Very welcoming and polight. Still made suggestions and every interaction was super positive. Food was AMAZING so happy with what we got. We will definitely be back as they have SO many options and the several we had were top tier, I can only assume the rest will be. Will be recommending to friends and family. Thank you! rare beef noodle soup was delicious!! excellent broth - quality beef!! tuna hand roll was very good!! quality fish green chicken curry was awesome as well!! service was very good, restaurant very clean. will def be back!! thank you!!
Just passing through to return home back to Michigan. Found this like Gem. The best presented Sushi my wife and I have ever received. Very sweet nice owner who was cooking greeting serving and checking out orders. Hope this town appreciates this quality of a place. The the prices were more then fair. Couldn’t believe how cheap it was. And taste. Easily some of the best sushi we’ve ever had in our lives.
Koi House is truly a hidden gem! Esan was an amazing host, so attentive and welcoming. Mia also served us and was incredibly warm, greeting us with such kindness. The food was absolutely delicious, and for the price, it’s such great value. Every dish we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. Definitely recommend this place and I’ll absolutely be coming back!
Yeah, I have not ever had Thai green curry with the sauce was literally bright green and the chicken also green. I cook Thai food frequently and live in an area of Florida with many Thai resturants and that green chicken was a first! Mango salad was a generous portion but no Thai chilies or lime juice or cilantro or fish sauce present. Lots of gai lan in pad see yew but very oily. We requested that spring rolls and mango salad be served first but all the food came at the same time. By the time we finished the salad and spring rolls the main course was cold. The server did apologise when he gave us the bill.. definitely not impressed in general disappointing.
Maybe I ordered the wrong dish - but the Chinese noodle dish I ordered had almost no vegetables or chicken. The sauce had no taste. And the noodles looked like grocery spaghetti. I won't be going back.
