My gosh! I can’t believe I have been going here for years and have not yet made a Google review. Mike and his wife are absolutely phenomenal to deal with. I enjoy walking through the doors every chance I get. At this point the place has become so familiar that I’m often met with jokes and possibly a little friendly banter. The collector education and information I have received dealing and talking with Mike is priceless. The man knows toys. Do not hesitate to take a trip down memory lane and walk into Bounty Hunter Toys. You will be met with smiles, joy, and many terrific memories I am sure.
Friendly, well stocked, and fairly priced collectible shop. Hamilton has a few, and my son and I love this over all the rest. We’ve never left empty handed.
Placed an order online. The items came packaged very well and protected from any damage. Order was placed on Friday and it was received on Tuesday. Shipping and tracking was very easy with email updates. Overall very pleased.
I’ll start by saying I’ve heard incredible things about this toy boutique . The selection, the merchandise and the proprietor of the establishment, all glowing reviews. The overpriced merchandise speaks for itself, so let’s spend some time chatting about the owner, and his incredible business sense. First off, I’d assume he must have a PHD in business, and teach business at a university level as he’s discovered a way to make money, and never actually be open (Covid aside). His business sense is so incredibly astute, that he needs one more week to stay closed, even after not being open for six weeks! I’d only assume it’s to toy with minds of his competitors. Brilliant move, and to that I say...bravo sir...bravo indeed. I do look forward to somehow shopping there regardless of never being able too, but until then I’ll shop at the thousands of other stores that remembered they could reopen today. **2024 UPDATE!** Recently popped back into this wonderful little shop after a year, it was lovely to see the shopkeep hasn’t changed his wonderful ability to interact pleasantly with his customers. It’s incredible to see He’s still miserable and ornery, and I swear was wearing the same greasy t-shirt he had on the last time I lurked amongst his isles. The north east corner of the shop smells as if a raccoon died in the walls, and his prices are still as inflated as the shop keeps ego. The shop keeps greeting as I entered his establishment was an inaudible grunt, before I was scolded for having the audacity of holding a drink. The neighbourhood the shopkeep moved his establishment to looks like the set from Escape from New York. Don’t forget to lock your car doors, and pack your pepper spray. I’m looking forward to the ornery shopkeeps clever rebuttal, it’s always quite amusing. Tootles old boy… **Late November Review** It seems I’ve been accused of trolling my old friend The Shopkeep. I started buying vintage toys from Bounty Hunter Toys in 2002, and after a long break from the hobby, I've discovered that Bounty Hunter Toys is still the best place to shop for classic toys. The selection is excellent, prices are always fair, and store owner Mike is great to deal with. It's a treat to visit the store in person, but it's great to have the option to shop online (esp. during the pandemic) — and shipping is super-fast. Highly recommended.
Have been a regular for awhile and always have a good experience. Recently set up an appointment for a family member to redeem a gift card. Store was helpful in setting it all up and ensuring a great, safe environment given what's going on. Thanks again.
Had a great experience selling my vintage toys to Mike. He is very knowledgeable and fair. He gave me twice as much $ for my collection than his closest competitor offered me last week. I definitely recommend doing business here.
