I walked in, and immediately said, "This is my new favorite store!" Everything was organized, clean, brightly lit, well labeled and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I've been to other ReStores, and I must say this is the best one I've been to. Well done!
As others said, the prices are way too high. The manager below mentions “50% or more in discounts”, not even close. Just like another poster said, I would rather pay a couple bucks more and drive up to Rona or Home Depot and get a warranty. Given people can shop FB Marketplace and Kijiji to see real savings, I’m not sure how this place will last. Too bad because I really do love the idea behind the store …
A very wide range of products with NO TAX. Lots of really nice looking couches today. Super clean and very gently used. Money from our purchases funds housing projects in our community. If you are renovating on a tight budget, check out the doors, tiles, tools, windows here before you hit HD, etc. Many eclectic items in store today including a massive fully suspended punching bag system. Everything from books (new) to face masks to pool salt.
Went to the stonechurch location for the first time the other day and the cashier Crystal i believe her name was helped me to find what i was looking for. She was very friendly and knowledgeable of the products in the store and made my experience there a good one. Im telling all my friends and family to go to that location
Been to this restore many times, the staff is warm and welcoming and always there to help! Was there for an incident involving a very rude customer and the woman at the cash handled it with such grace, I was amazed by her professionalism! Amazing customer service 10/10! I love this new location! Big, bright and clean. The staff is so friendly and ready to help if needed. There is always a deal to be found here at this store and it is always fun popping in every few weeks to see what new great things they have. There is always something! I will forever be a happy returning customer!
I have been going to restore for years and I have always had a good experience. The store was nice and clean, bright and the customer service was good as usual. If your not looking for a handout the prices are decent, it's a charity for people who need it not for the people who want it.
