Do not got shop here the owner of this shop has no customer service skills and is terribly rude. I was recently at the shop looking for simple assistance how to thread my Singer Machine and the shop owner refused to assist with something so simple. I even offered to pay for the assistance and they refused. I am a repeat customer I had recently purchased a machine there is Nov, and the machine i needed assistance with was previously serviced there and i have receipts to provide it. Disrespectfull
Just went into this location for my first time. Couldn’t believe I have not gone before in my 39yrs of living in Dundas. I went in for thread and the woman was more than helpful to point me in the right direction for the correct thread and then finding me a foot for my sewing machine that is going to help me with future projects. Definitely will be back as I appreciate how close to home it is and all the resources they provide.
Just purchased a baby lock serger.. I call it my lamborghini! Amazing machine.... the owners are so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.. Would highly recommend.
The owner is a little condescending to those without a 1000 dollar machine or if ur a newbie to sewing. Every time I come in she tells me it’s a 100 dollars and tries to sell me parts. Girl ur sewing, it’s not brain surgery
So far I have purchased 2 sewing machines and 2 embroidery machines from Hamilton Sewing. Recently I made the mistake of purchasing a sewing machine from another company with the promise of yes it will stitch through 5 layers of denim no problem.. wrong it would not And I was wrong for listening. Back to Hamilton Sewing where I know the information I receive will be correct. My machines were purchased and are serviced there and I will never go anywhere else..
Just now asked my sewing partner why she wasn't using the machine that had been repaired at this location. Her words, "Well, they "fixed" it, but didn't fix it". This was a Husqvarna. Needle won't go through multiple layers of fabric. This was the problem. This is still the problem. Pretty annoying to pay over $100 for no results.
I live in Toronto, and looked around before I came to Hamilton Sewing. Michelle is so knowledgeable and listened to what my needs were in a machine and has provided excellent after purchase care. I will gladly take the drive to come to her store.
