After a brief how-do-you-do with one of the employees who was very nice, a man walked over and was extremely rude to the employee and said, “You’re not buying that for cash, are you?” and the employee nervously replied to him, “I am not sure.” The employee replied with this answer clearly because this is something that happens often, and I could tell just by this one encounter. The man said, “No, absolutely not” in a rude, demeaning manner. He was extremely rude to his own employee at 10 a.m. when they first opened, so that just gives you an idea of how this business is run. Imagine how he treats customers if that’s how he treats his employees. He didn’t even give a reason; he just loudly told the employee “NO.” I feel for the employees that work there because that guy was a real jerk that shouldn’t be working anywhere near other people at all. He should take his grumpy attitude and stay home. What an absolute waste of time, truly don’t know how they’re still in business.
Extremely disappointed in this location. The other ones are much better. They give you discs with scratches, smudges and dust on them, they don’t do the courtesy of buffing them out as they fetch them. The other stores they do that so your disc looks mint as they put it in the box, so why can’t this one? It’s the same franchise. Their in-store stock is also much worse than the other stores. They had like 5 people on staff chit chatting not doing anything like offering assistance, never had this issue at a beat store where they always ask if you need help. All the shelves are super disorganized you have no idea where anything is. The other stores you guessed it, alphabetically labelled so you know where it starts and ends. Here it’s like they threw everything on the shelf randomly and called it a day. If I didn’t know how good the other stores are before coming here I’d never return to any of their stores. I’d avoid this location and just go to their other ones that are infinitely better.
i walked in trying to sell my games and the guy was very rude at first and said all my games where scratched even tho he didnt even take a second to look at them because he was talking to someone the whole time and ignored everything i said. he said this game was scratched take a look for yourself if u want a place there cares go anywhere else
Worst customer experience at this location. If I could give a zero I would do so. As none of the other poor reviews are commented upon from store level or chain no point on going too deep. Drive to another location with a way better vibe. Hamilton is an awful store to do any business with in any regard.
Great place, my favourite place closed during covid and I find that new movies are very pricey if you can even find it. I love having a dvds/blu-rays. I found this place and knew I had to check it out and I'm so glad I did I bought 8 movies for just under $30. There were lots of movies and a great selection. I will definitely come back.
GREAT QUALITY ITEMS AND LOTS OF HIDDEN GEMS. LOVE THEIR ONLINE SELECTION AND FREE SHIPPING TO HAMILTON. PRICES FOR CD'S, DVD'S, AND, BR ARE PRETTY DECENT. I HAVE NOT DONE A TRADE OR SELL YET. PENDING UPDATE.
Much smaller than the guelph store, seems to be lacking but there is a ton of cds. The people working here are nice, i just went out of my way here and it was disappointing.
