Amazing view. Love the greenery and flower beds. Clean and well managed. Expect to not find parking spots though. Not enough lighting at night time so all the more privacy and doesn't get too crowded all the time.

Dinner With A View..........Food Trucks.......Jonny Blonde Food Truck my all time favourite cooked up awesome food as always!

Just at the top of the escarpment is the beautiful Sam Lawrence Park. This is one of the best parts to visit in the city, especially if you're looking for an amazing view of the Hamilton Skyline and harbour. On a clear day you can easily see Toronto off in the distance. The park is a short drive from downtown and easily accessible by public transportation. There's free parking and a number of trails and other natural features to explore the area.At the park you'll find a rock garden that's packed with lots of flowers, benches, and stone walkways. During the warmer months wildflowers and prairie grasses rise up in abundance and the landscape here at the park is amazing.Along the trails and walkways are interpretive signs so you can learn more about the history and geology of the park. speaking of trails, from the park you can access the Bruce Trail which runs hundreds of kilometers along the Niagara escarpment. The best part about the park is the amazing view. Try to visit at sunset if you get the chance - the panoramic views of the city with the sun shining on it are amazing!

Great little park with an even better view. Lots of people use this as a backdrop for wedding pictures and I can see why. Met up with my current partner in this park and we return often for the anniversary of that coffee date and for firework events every holiday. The view of the city is just stunning, the meticulous landscaping is beautiful as well. Parking is insufficient for the need quite often, but the space for such is limited and people flock to this location. Worth a stop to look out over the city or for a quick picnic. No bathrooms but theres a Tims up the street.

Very nice and spacious park. Ideal lookout point to view Hamilton and lake Ontario from. Come at night and get a view of Hamilton with the city lights on. Come on a clear day and you can see the Toronto skyline... so beautiful! No charge for parking or enjoying the park.
