Awesome park worth checking out all year round. Fun for fishing/ice fishing, boating, exploring or even go hang out and spend an afternoon. There's also bike trails that will take you to towards other amazing locations. If your lucky, you'll even catch one of the fun random events that happens there
There is nothing much here. Just a big open park with a really small land area for beach. The water is not clean either. There was so much filth in it. However, I did see a few people bring in their boats, jet skis and canoes. It is a pet friendly park. There were a lot of dog walkers. Some people fishing, they looked like regulars I don't think I'd go back here. There was nothing special about it. Except maybe for the super weird webs on the trees!
Love this park! There is more than ample parking so come one, come all! There is a beautiful little lagoon in which you can watch a variety of wildlife and birds in the area. Swans make their home their and usually can be found with a new little family in the spring time. Nice place to walk around, usually a food truck or ice cream truck pulled in when its summer time.
Such a pleasant afternoon, wildlife mostly geese walking everywhere, many people fishing, and a beautiful picnic spot.First time seeing the Hamilton library on wheels, but such a good idea. Saw 2 families there choosing books for their young kids so clearly libraires have found a creative way of reinventing themselves. I just wish that the waters didn't look so polluted. People really should be more protective and respectful instead of letting their garbage fly off into the waters.
Some amazing views. The day was great and the hutches in the area was great! The food was amazing. We we're lucky enough to see some young swans near the Waters edge as well. If you don't mind a little walking it would be a good spot to visit.
