Just want to say thank you to the staff(Taryn, and another coworker)for their great service and support during my visit yesterday. I have a big 8x11 rug that is a major pain to wash, because of how it holds on to water - because of that, it took a lot to get it to the point of drying effectively. They went out of their way to help me, and even folded it for me, too! Hamilton Laundry has friendly people, a clean space, and a range of machines that can handle personal laundry all the way to big rugs like mine. I’ll be back, and won’t hesitate to recommend it to others. Thanks a lot!
Edit: I believe the owners response speaks for itself. All of this easily verifiable. And I’m not sure what kind of business immediately writes off a customers complaint without truly seeking to understand. I am sorry I spent my hard earned money at such an establishment. Unfortunately this place gets worse every time I come (which is almost every week). It seems convenient due to the hours, but I will need to adjust my schedule to avoid this place. The new pay system is horrible. I loaded 2 triple washers with clothes and detergent. The first would not accept coins so I reluctantly decided to use the new card payment system. It charged me $9.50 then would not start. It says 24/7 contact for the company in charge of the payment machines, but they have normal business hours and were closed when I called. The second machine ate my loonie and would not coin return. I didn’t dare try my card again. So I moved all my laundry to 2 new washers, after testing to see if they would accept a quarter. Then I went back to my single loader and tested out some quarters. It worked. Great right? Nope. Cause then when I decided to use my loonies, to save my quarters for the dryer, it ate 2 of my loonies. I lost a total of $12.50 and 2 triple loads worth of detergent at 5am. I have lost money and detergent before but never to such a magnitude in one visit. Besides this current experience, the same dryers have been out of service the last 3 weeks at least, with new ones added all the time. I have to search through all the dryers before I fill them because an unacceptable amount of them have torn metal on the drums, which catches on my clothes and tears them. They have not been patched or repaired. I don’t enjoy writing this review, but the place was much better kept when I first started coming here around 2 years ago and now I find the facilities, machines, and services to be below basic business standards and more trouble than it’s worth.
I just moved here and this laundromat is amazing. Extremely clean, I met Beth and she went above and beyond. Accessible faculty. If anything is unnacessible the staff is really accommodating. You can also pay with a card. Overall my first impression was lovely.
Old lady working at night time was very rude , we were 4 people came to do laundry but she asked us not to do laundry because we were using 5-7 washer and she told us that you should come other time as our other customers needed so my point is what we are .. we are not the customer according to her This was really rude and happened third time. If the same thing will repeat I would not hesitate to take action on her.
I love the cleanliness of this laundromat and the attendant Terry works very hard to keep it clean and tidy. She is very helpful and makes me feel like a valued customer.
My mother and I took our clothes to your laundrymat on March 15th around 8:50-9:00pm to use the driers. There was an older lady with a sling working, she was going around and making sure things were well. She came across some empty laundry detergent cups that were provided by you guys in the recycling and proceeded to accuse us for putting them in there as we were closest to the recycling bin, we explained that we didn’t wash our laundry there and that they were not ours, they were another customers. She was rude about it and talked poorly about the customer who did leave the empty cups in there. We finished putting our laundry in the driers around 9:20-9:30 and set them for 75 minutes. We set a timer and we were about 10-15 minutes late picking out laundry up. We entered the store and the lady working had taken our clothes out of two of the drier’s we were using and she rudely came up to us and said she needed the driers, our clothes were done so she took them out. While we were leaving the store with our clothes I had two women that were also there say to me that they were considering taking my Kate spade blanket if the owner to it didn’t arrive shortly. The blanket was just a plain pink blanket and the only way someone would know the brand is if they physically touched my laundry. The worker didn’t only remove my clothing without consent, she also left it out for other customers to have easier access to it. My laundry was also still wet and she said that to us when we were in there collecting our laundry, the driers that she emptied were not in use after she had told us she needed them. We tend to come to your laundrymat often as it seemed safe and well kept but now I no longer feel that my clothes are safe there as she put them out on display for others to view and consider taking. The lady working was unprofessional, we were treated poorly, others around us were talked about poorly and also treated poorly, my clothes were removed from the driers even though they were not finished, others were considering taking my belonging, etc. I do have some missing items, not sure if they were taken by someone or left in the dryer with another customers clothing and taken home by mistake.
The self serve laundry services are great! I wish that there was more clarity either on their website or this page about wash and fold services as I just drove here to try and drop off to find out that there isn’t drop off until an attendant is present at 10am. A bit frustrating since I went completely out of my way.
