We held our annual Christmas party here and had such a wonderful evening. The atmosphere was cozy, the staff made us feel completely comfortable, and the food was absolutely top-notch — we’re still talking about it! From the very beginning, Nataliya and Bruno made sure we were well taken care of. I look forward to coming back again.
L'Altra Milano Ristorante is a true Italian dining experience. A little hidden gem in Waterdown. We have been twice the last few months and will return many more times. The owners are such a lovely couple and take such pride in the food, experience and overall customer satisfaction. Spread the word and head over for dinner, you won't be disappointed.
I'm so happy I found this hidden gem while visiting from the DC area. You know a restaurant is exceptional when the locals (young and senior) are enthusiastically dining in. The server has excellent table ettiquette. I had the burrata salad, bolognese, branzino, and tiramisu. Everything was PERFECT! The branzino was crispy, tender, deboned and perfectly seasoned. The bolognese was so flavorful. A d the tiramisu came with a gooseberry. I felt like I was transported back to Italy ?? Truly an experience from Milano. You can taste the love and passion in each bite. My only regret is I didnt take a picture of the burrata salad.
We had dinner at L’Altra Milano this Saturday evening. We’ve been living in Waterdown for almost a year, and we came across this restaurant by chance one evening while driving home. Being Italian and having moved to Canada almost two years ago, we said to ourselves: we have to try it! Usually, when I see “Italian restaurant” I’m a bit skeptical, because it’s difficult to find authentic dishes and flavors (especially when I find “Fettuccine Alfredo” on the menu! — and I was very happy not to see them here). We met Bruno, the chef, and it was truly a pleasure. The food was very good. I personally had the Caserecce alla Norma, and I can assure you the flavor was authentic, just like the ones my grandmother used to make. Even the Tiramisù tasted exactly like the one you would find in Italy. I definitely recommend this place and we will be coming back for sure.
We had a wonderful dinner here last night! The food was authentically Italian — full of rich flavors and perfectly prepared. The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend: the Calamari & Gamberi Fritti, Fettuccine alla Bolognese, and the Tiramisu — all absolutely delicious.
Awesome experience. Celebrated our anniversary tonight and had a wonderful meal. Veal scaloppini and the lamb chops Everything was cooked to perfection. The lamb chops were ordered medium and were served at a perfect temperature. A very quiet and peaceful setting.
Wonderful lunch at L' Altra Milano. The chicken parmesan hit the spot. Generous portion with a side of spaghetti, crispy cutlet topped with gooey mozzarella cheese. We shared the house made tiramisu, moist and creamy, the real deal! Service was quick and easygoing. We will be back to enjoy the cosy fireplace and savour the branzino.
