I'd like to give this place negative 5 stars. My kid saved their money to go in and purchase trading cards. First they tried to sell us cards that weren't in English. One employee who was stocking a shelf came over and told me they were Chinese cards. (thank you to that one honest employee) After sorting that out and going to pay they asked for my kids phone number. He's a kid, no phone. So they INCREASED the price. You have to give them your contact info to or you have to pay more!!!!!!!!!!!!! I looked at the price tags on things after, they display the discount price in large font and then the actual price in tiny font under it. Whoever came up with this price system should be ashamed of themselves and be fired. Anyone else working there should be embarrassed. This is an edit** After posting I read a bunch of other reviews but can't comment on them. This place is shady. They won't honour returns for defective products but they HAVE TO. Doesn't matter if they have an 80 foot sign saying no refunds, if it doesn't work at the time of purchase they have to take it back. From Google> In Ontario, you have a right to return a defective item to the store for a refund or replacement because it likely voids the contract of sale. If the item is defective, doesn't work as advertised, or isn't what you ordered, you can treat the contract as nullified and return it. However, if you simply don't want the item, you are at the mercy of the store's specific return policy, as the law does not require businesses to accept returns for reasons other than defects.
Extremely rude customer service everytime we go in. I’m always all smiles and the cashier can’t even be bothered to talk nicely. The workers also yelled at my friend asking if we needed help finding anything in a tone hinting we need to leave even though we were just browsing. Unacceptable, we left our items there that we were going to purchase and left, because if a place cannot provide good customer service they don’t deserve customers.
Unacceptable women that was working in the store. Around 12pm my friend and I decided to go in and we over hear the women working at the counter tell another customer “this isn’t an Ardenes” as she was asking help for one of their products. We also heard her rude to other customers as well and when I had asked for help for pricing on an iteam where I could not find the price and when I thanked her she looked me up and down and said “mhmh”. Looking at these reviews I can see nothing is being done. I will be taking this to corporate and social media if not resolved and will go back into the store to see if this women’s poor attitude problem has resolved or not. Her young male co-worker looked scared to even work with her as they were the only two working at 12pm. Won’t be going back
I was pressured to provide not just my phone number but email address as well so I could make a $10 purchase. They then immediately sent an ereciept on top of the paper one. I have never been inside showcase until today and definitely will not go back since you are obsessed with data mining. My info was worth more than the 2$ I saved, thanks.
I've always had great experiences there and found cool items. I do agree that some are over priced but if I choose to buy it then it's worth it for me, it's not for all. You can always find it someplace else and order online, nobody's forcing anyone to buy from the store. The clearance is my go to, those deals are insane. Sometimes I'll just grab the rest of an item because of Xmas or birthdays, just to cheap to let it go. I'm not sure if the man working there at night is the owner or manager but he's a real people person, every time I go there he talks to me like he knows me, he has conversation and also tells things about his experiences with out rushing you away. My son and I were crouched around the clearance in the far corner trying to figure out prices and I noticed he kept looking over. It think he thought we might be stealing because of the way we were hovering and talking low but I was just having trouble finding the price tag lol he came over asking if we needed help and he was super nice, ended up getting a few good items and when my size wasn't in a clearance item he took my size off the shelf that wasn't marked down and let me buy that one for the clearance price. F Before I ramble more, I'll stop here with a final reminder. If the price isn't to your liking then look up what you want online or marketplace because the store has their prices, it's not a street kart. Opo
Way overpriced, literally ripping people off! They’re selling Austin Mathew Prime drinks for $14.99 any most expensive retail stores would be $ 3.99. Takis chips for $12.99 while in Dollarama is $1.25. Mr. Beast chocolate $ 9.99 while in other retailers is $3.99. I could list hundreds of their items.I wish someone could start a lawsuit against them they deserve the worst.Went back to return what my son has purchased but the rude manager told me it has F beside the items and n the receipt means final sale even though they never mentioned that when we were purchasing the items ( items never opened) I will try to reach out to consumer protection to see if I can file a complaint against them
My Ah Bras are no longer sold at that store. They lasted for a long time and are very comfortable. They no longer sell them. I visited them last week but they said that it's no longer sold at the stores.
